This can be done solo.
Go to Network --> Lobby, select any region, then any country/region, and finally any lobby.
Press triangle to bring up the menu, then player match, create room, create room, anyone, and the trophy should unlock.
While you at it, you can press L1 (quick messages) then select "in character" and select any message in the list for the "In A Different Key" trophy.
