Make sure your in Competitive on the main menu.

1. Get three of your friends on guitar or any other instrument. "Four of the same instrument to be exact" and then invite them to your party.

2. Instead of clicking the orange fret to look for a party online, press the start button to bring up a list of gametypes.

3. Pick "Rockfest" from that list, and play it. NOT Team Rockfest!

4. When your done wait until the screen comes up that says the final results and winner. (The second one, not the first.)

5. Quit out, and make another Rockfest match.. Rinse and repeat and this is yours in no time!

This takes less than twenty five minutes to achieve. About the time it would take to play Peter Frampton's song twice! Not long at all.

Just wanted to point out that it only has to be 10 songs, not whole matches. So If you play three 4 song matches (song 2, A-Punk, Why-Bother and Brainstorm) it will unlock after the second song in the third match.

I can confrim it, because I just got the achievement after the second song in a three song match ;p

And also, yes it has to be exactly 4 people with the same instrument only on Rockfest (NOT TEAM Rockfest) and can be done online or offline, if you have 4 guitars, mics, drumkits.

This is how I just achieved this (literally, got the pop, then walked over and typed this in).

If you don't want to have to wait for 3 other people (yes, it has to be 3 others, no more, no less. The achievement, once unlocked, says "Shredded with 3 others 10 times".), you can plug in 3 extra guitars. Do as SCG says and make sure you pick Rockfest, along with not searching for anyone.

When you go into Rockfest, you'll get a game message saying something along the lines of not being able to save without being logged into a profile. Just ignore it.

As for the song selection, it doesn't really matter, but I rotated between Song 2, Why Bother?, and A-Punk. These songs are all under 2.5 minutes. Also, after picking a song, you get to chose between 2 game types. If elimination comes up, PICK IT. The 3 guitars not playing will drop off within a minute, making your achievement hoarding experience that much faster.

The above solutions helped me alot but i think i can make it sound alittle more simple.

competitive > rockfest ( not team as noted above )

Sign in 4 of the same instruments. I used 4 pads with headsets tied to a fan with my main profile as number 1.

pick 10 of the shortest songs, agree on 3 of the instruments a game mode. Doesn't matter who wins.

At the end of each round choose between the two options ( I found what you picked didn't matter ). After the 10 songs POP goes the achievement !

You can actually get this achievement on your own if you have 4 guitars. Not sure how the other instruments would work out but I basically used the same steps as the above solution but signed in my 3 extra guitars as guests and set all the instruments on beginner.

Occassionally someone may join your Rockfest match and you'll have more than 4 in the match but that won't affect anything. I recommend picking a short song like Song 2, it's literally 2 min 2sec long and I think the shortest song in the game. Super easy!!!

I just wanna add a few helpful tips to the other great solutions. I just did this on 1 tv with 1 copy of the game. I did however use 4 gold account at once. I would assume you can do this offline and even with a silver account and maybe 3 guests signed in but cant confirm that. I use 4 mics and a fan. Played beastie boys 3 times in a row on expert then I thought that might only count as 1 rock fest. So I backed out and started backing out after every song. But after doing 1 song at a time 7 times the cheev popped for all 4 accounts. So it looks like you can play 10 songs in a row without backing out each time. Change your song listing to shortest songs and put the mics on beginner if you dont feel like playing.
