How to unlock the Representative achievement in Guitar Hero 5 - Definitive Guide

Sponsor gigs are the last gigs in every venue. Beat enough songs in a venue to unlock the sponsor gig, then complete the challenge with the instrument required to Diamond standards and this achievement is yours.

EMG FTW, in Sideshow(Venue 3) is supposedly a really easy one to get gold on with only a 150k Diamond requirement.

EMG FTW, in Sideshow (venue 3) was really easy on Medium. I played Play That Funky Music by Wild Cherry for 184,000 points (~98%), Diamond requirement is 150,000

I got this playing Comedown by Bush (correction) for the Paul Reed Smith's Open Call in O'Connell's corner.

It's a really easy bass part with a 300 note streak required for the diamond bonus. On easy the track has 324 notes and is really easy to play. I'm marginally better than terrible and even I could do it!

(I'm still terrible tho and can still do it!)

Great solution, this worked first time for me. I played the song on Medium - there are 577 notes, but it is very easy to 100% this song.

Also, the song "Comedown" is actually by Bush :)

The very first Sponsor gig you come across in Career Mode is a Guitar challenge requiring you to hit 345 chords in a song (for Diamond level). All Along the Watchtower's Expert Guitar track is the easiest of the songs you can choose to get Diamond, and get the 5G Achievement.

Confirmed and appreciated. Just did this first try (not an Expert guitarist per se). Thanks for the tip.

Theres no need to play this song on expert to get the achievement. If you find it difficult to play it on expert you can also get the achievement by playing the song on hard instead.

It's 400 for diamond. (Maybe they changed it at some point?) Still got it on Hard, though.

I got this playing Electric Honky Tonk sponsored challenge to whammy for 40 seconds. I choose "In My Place" - Coldplay as its challenge is also for whammy's. I played it on medium and choose to miss notes to get whammys on the short to mid sustains you'll get the achievement near to the end, I ended up with 84% on the song but came away with the diamond challenge complete.

The easiest method by far for this one is as follows:
Venue - O'Connell's
Challenge - Paul Reed Smith's Open Call - 300 Streak on Bass Guitar.
Song - Kaiser Chiefs - "Never Miss A Beat".

Even if you suck at this game as I do, this is easily obtainable using the Easy settings with 400+ notes.
A little practice and this is an easy 100% making the Diamond simple enough.
Good luck!

In sponsor gigs, you can select any song from any previous venues you want (and any DLC). Try the gig 'Seymour Duncan Pickup Match Guitar Challenge', pick “Im My Place” by Coldplay and play on Hard or Expert. With No Fail and Always Slide on, concentrate strictly on whammying sustains to get Diamond on this sponsor gig.

I recommend you do the "Seymour Duncan Pickup Match Guitar Challenge" Pick "In my place" by Coldplay, Play on hard/expert turn on no fail and always slide. Concentrate only on whammying the sustain notes
