How to unlock the The Fabricated Four achievement in Guitar Hero 5 - Definitive Guide

I thought I'd put together a more detailed solution on how I got this myself:

- In the main menu, scroll down and choose "Rock Star Creator". Select "Create New", choose female or male character and their genre. You can edit your rocker at this point or just save and exit and keep the defaults. It was mentioned that using avatars keeps this from unlocking(credit to MxSvnty4), did not test this, but would choose male/female character vs avatar to be safe.

- Once back in main menu, go to quickplay. When I did this, I turned on 4 instruments and changed them all to my created rocker, but you can also just have one instrument turned on and just change the AI players to your created rocker (credit to J03 D4RK0 Joe Cheeto for discovering this).

- Play whatever instrument you want and change the rocker to your created one. To change the character for the AI players, you need to scroll down to "Band Lineup". Once you select this, scroll over and select one of the AI characters and change the character to your created rocker. Hit the back button and then change the other 2 AI players as well. All four players can be the same created rocker (credit to Nichabod).

- Once you are set up, start play and select any song. You must successfully finish song, and the achievement will unlock on the results screen.

You don't even need to plug in any other instruments. I got this by myself by making the bots the created character and I just played a song and got it in quickplay.

Nice find J03 D4RK0, I tested it and you are indeed correct...a bit easier than having to put on other instruments. I will edit my solution and give you credit.

I got this by using Random Rocker for each AI player and for myself. Didn't ever have to create one. But I wouldn't have thought to do it had I not read your solution. So thanks. Thumbs up.

I couldn't understand your instruction about "just change the AI players to created rockers," because the AI always switched back to "Judy Nails" or some prefab rocker, so I used all four instruments with created rockers but turned on the "no fail" cheat and got the achievement. The others profiles/rockers just rode out the song and never played a note but got through the song and popped the achievement.

Very simple just create 4 characters doesn't matter save them and put them in your band then play one song and the achievement will unlock.

Do you need to have 4 players or can you do it solo cause I can't figure it out on solo quickplay

You can do it in solo just change your band line up to your created characters.

There is an option in the band lobby to modify your band (keep scrolling down past the difficulty/ instrument/ options). Move left or right to highlight another player, select a created rocker, back out, repeat for all 4 slots...then play a song.

Just a note, you can select Random Rocker from the Character Select list and just make your other three band members random people, and it will still count.

You don't even have to make 4 different characters, you can make a band of clones of the same created character.

Also, using an avatar for any slot will prevent you from unlocking this.

Who needs the Fab Four? In the band lineup, select "Random Rocker" for your character. Then change the other three bandmates to "Random Rocker" as well. Play through one song on Quickplay, like your short custom song to unlock this.

Dont waste your time creating 4 characters, simply just select "Random Rocker" for all 4 band members, The place where you select your difficulty, activate cheats etc scroll down to the bottom and it will say "arange band" click on it and change all 4 like stated above.
