How to unlock the Gems achievement in Guitar Hero Aerosmith - Definitive Guide

The best way to ensure you earn this achievement, is to play on an easier difficulty then usual, and never activate star power. Activating star power eliminates a possible power phrase in the song, IE, if you've activated it, an existing power phrase may be lost. You will probably get this one early in normal play.

That's right. You can't activate star power during the song. I got all notes and activated star power, but didn'tgot the achievement.

This can be achieved on any difficulty but the lower the easier it will be.

Star power phrases are the star shaped notes that glow blue, hit all of them without breaking streak or missing any and you will earn star power. Songs can have 5+ star power phrases in them and on lower difficulties the phrases will be shorter and simpler to hit.

I suggest the song 'Make It' - Aerosmith' and to play on medium so you can unlock more achievements on the way.

Note: make sure you do not use the star power you earn so you can unlock the Spaced achievement

By playing on Medium and not using your star power you can also unlock the following:

For this achievement you have to hit every star shaped note that comes down the fret board. To make sure I didn't miss any whilst in Star Power mode I didn't activate it at all during the song which will also unlock Spaced.
