How to unlock the Kings and Queens achievement in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith - Definitive Guide

Pretty simple this one. You have to buy 4 unlockable characters from the vault, each costing $15,000. They are: Joe Perry, DMC (not available from the start, but unlocks half way through career), Tom Hamilton and Bard Whitford. Therefore you need $60,000 at one time. If you're having difficulty saving enough money, simply earn $15,000 with 4 different bands.

I unlocked 3 of the four on my main band's career, and then played expert again on a second band to get 15,000 more. I then unlocked the fourth character on the second band, and all characters showed as unlocked in both bands, but I did not get the achievement. I quit the game, re-loaded the save, went to Options and then Vault, selected the second band and the achievement popped right then.

Do you have to have them all unlocked at once? Or can you unlock one, quit to dash, unlock another, quit to dash, etc...? Anyone test this?

There are a total of 4 characters to unlock they are;
• Joe Perry
• Tom Hamilton
• Brad Whitford
• DMC (available after progressing through career mode)
Each character will cost $15,000 which means you'll need a total of $60,000 for this achievement, however bearing in mind that there are other achievements which require you to purchase unlockables it's a good idea to make use of a small in game exploit. Once you've saved up a whole bunch of cash go to the in game shop and buy all the items you need for the achievement you want to unlock, now you need to make sure you have enough money for the achievement you're going for!
Once you've purchased everything and the achievement has popped use the guide button to dashboard the game, doing so will prevent the game from saving which will mean when you boot it back up not only will you have the achievement you just got but you'll also have all the money you just spent unlocking it again and you're free to use that money to purchase the items needed for one of the other unlockable based achievements!

There are 4 unlockable characters in the Vault. Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford are available from the start of the career. DMC is unlocked for purchase upon completion of King of Rock in tier 4. Joe Perry is unlocked for purchase when you beat his Guitar Battle in tier 6. The achievement will unlock once you purchase the last character.
For this achievement you'll need to earn $60000 in total over all your careers and bands. Characters can be purchased within different bands as once you have purchased a character in one band's career the character is unlocked and available for use in all your other bands (under the same gamertag).
5-Starring all songs in each difficulty earns:-
Easy = $9,300
Medium = $18,600
Hard = $37,200
Expert= $55,800
