Do not tilt the guitar to prevent Star Power from being activated at any time through the song. You must successfully complete a star power passage in the song, however, for the Achievement to unlock.

Just a heads up, this does not work in co-op.
Already beaten this game yet I still don't have the achievement. Why... because they're rewarding you to do something you aren't supposed to do.
But as the above said, just don't activate starpower. If for some reason you have difficulty, use a controller, and don't hit the back button, as that activates starpower. Just make sure you can combo a star power passage.
I really wish game makers would stop making achievements like these.

Play a song (on any difficulty) in the career and fill your Star Power meter until it glows then don't tilt your guitar to activate it. You will probably find it easiest to get this achievement at the same time as Gems.
