How to unlock the 600K Pair achievement in Guitar Hero II - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires you and a buddy to score 600k points in a co-op song. My suggestion is to play Free Bird on Medium and score a near perfect run. If that doesn't work, try playing it on hard while your buddy plays it on medium.

I got this the other night (playing Free Bird) with both of us on Medium and around 95%. We had just over 700k, so even if you can't get 95% there's a little room for error.

Feasibly with perfect or close runs on Medium and good star paths, 800k is possible, but you need 1 hard and 1 med for 1 mill.

I did this with my friend. We were both on medium, and we didn't do particularly well. I got 96% and he got 90%. We still scraped in at 602,000, so it's definitely very doable.

I did thise for my friend a while ago on Famous Last Words. Its in the My Chemical Romance DLC pack. It is very simple with mostly chords and the only parts thats even the slightest bit difficult is the short guitar solo. We were both on expert.

This is actually very possible with the lead guitar on Medium and the other person on Easy. Without using star power, my brother and I had a little over 551,000 points. I had 97% and he had 98% and we hit the first 1023 notes of the song. If we had used star power, we could have easily gotten at least 700,000 points (maybe 800,000 if we used star power correctly but probably not). Also this is a good way to get the 1000 note co-op steak achievement.
