How to unlock the Kick the Bucket Award achievement in Guitar Hero II - Definitive Guide
Can't believe this is not posted yet but here it goes. My own guide on how to get this cheevo plus many others, while playing on medium. You don't even got to play on expert.

The way i got this achievement is by saving all of my star power through the intro of the song and then tried getting as far through solo B as i could just before i was going to fail and use the star power.
If you have the star power meter full and you use the star power near the end of solo B, it should last you to the beginning of solo D. Then you should be able to get through the rest of the song easy.
Have fun trying to get this achievement

Just want to add, that if you'd like to try to get a few extra points, if you hit the two initial star power phrases, if you activate star power at the exact moment you first earn it you'll end your star power RIGHT before the next bit of star power comes your way, and you'll have just enough to max out your meter again.
I'd imagine you should get pretty good at the intro after failing over and over ;)
I was at the point where I could get 100% up to the solos, which helped me win a small local tourney :-P
I didn't have much trouble with this achievement, cause for some reason I was determined enough to beat the song on the ps2, where there was no reward ...

the good old days where you did something badass and the satisfaction was enough.

My advice for any song you can't beat, specially Jordan, Freebird, TTFAT, and Raining Blood, is don't use starpower untill the meter is red. Not flashing red, by then its too late. Also alternate strum powering through Jordan helped me beat it. Once you beat the first part of solo's. your home free. Its a slice of cake after that.

TTFAT and raining blood are in GH3, why are you mentioning them for GH2?

To point out that it is a universal tip you can use across any Guitar Hero game.

If you trying to do the glitch and isn't working and if you have some skill with Guitar Hero... try use hyperspeed cheat: B, O, Y, O, B, O, Y, Y
- First, i save full star power until i almost failing, when i will fail the song, release and try play all notes. ( with hyperspeed the song its more easy to understand), i've tried 5 times without hyperspeed and fail, after get my hyperspeed i get the achievement in my first try.

Practice mode. That's all I can say. This song combines corkey sounds with odd note progression. If you can play on expert, the song is fairly simple until the solo. The solo is an insane shred that literally does NOT stop. The best advice I can give is A) Practice mode to learn the off beat progression of the solo, and B) Aquire as much Star Power as possible before the solo and save it until you ABSOLUTELY need it.
