How to unlock the Long Road Ahead Award achievement in Guitar Hero II - Definitive Guide
Joke achievement.
Start up a song, wait for a while (You can't fail a song on easy until a certain point) then strum up and down until you've failed.

*sigh*
This is an achievement? And you need a guide? FAIL!
Head to Career, pick any song and choose Easy difficulty. When the song starts, all you have to do wait for the "Rock Meter" to drop into the flashing red section and not play any notes. Just don't even make any attempt to play the game properly and the achievement will unlock when the game says that you failed.

The above video was uploaded by TriPlayerGames. The video shows in-game footage of what you should expect to happen (and how bad you need to be) when attempting to unlock this achievement.
The above video was uploaded by Waffles1468. It is a clip from the South Park television series called "Guitar Queer-O" (season 11, episode 13) which shows Randy Marsh attempting to play a song featured in the game. The episode first aired 7 November 2007, which was after the release of Guitar Hero II and Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock in North America.
This is harder than it sounds as the game won't even let you "traditionally" fail the song until 50% of the way through. After than, just strum until you're boo'd off the stage. Way to suck!!
