You must collect enough star power to activate it, and do so when you have a 4x multiplier, that way it doubles to 8x. You will most likely get this one early in your play of this game.

This achievement can be earned through normal gameplay. This achievement can be earned by hitting the power stars while playing a song.Once the meter is half full or more you'll need to work on your multiplier.
Hitting consecutive notes will gain you a x4 multiplier, which you'll then need to activate your star power by either pressing select or tilting the guitar back. Doing so will maX out your score and net you 10G!

Done on any song. This is done once you have built up enough star power. After you reach a x4 multiplier, you activate your star power by either pressing select or tilting the guitar back. The later is the preferred method of the most metal heads. m/
