How to unlock the Nailed It achievement in Guitar Hero Live - Definitive Guide

here another tip for regular players

i also played the song: Cry of Achilles from Alter Bridge

my guitar setup was:

- Base score: upgrade 2 of 4
- Max multiplier: upgrade 3 of 4
- Multiplier speed: upgrade 2 of 4

with these settings i hit 512.149 points (and i've missed some notes)

I did this with Lazerray on Regular. My setup:

Power-ups - level 2 (3 uses in one song) with x2 multiplier - you need to boost this to level 4 anyway
Base score - level 2
Multiplier - level 4 (x7 max)
Multiplier speed - level 2

All of these are going to help you on the way to 100,000,000 points, so might as well wait a bit until you've leveled these up at least somewhat.

Lazerray is very repetitive, yet it isn't boring to lull you into mistakes. Once you get it down, it's pretty easy to master. Pretty much the entire song is on the beat, so there isn't much syncopation that could mess up your streak. I've FCed this several times, and trust me, I can't do higher than Regular. There are a total of 611 notes on Regular.

Hold the multipliers until near the end of the song. If you still have 100% in the homestretch, throw down your multipliers... once you play it, you'll see that the last 100+ notes are the same two patterns over and over, so doesn't have anything strange on the homestretch.

I got 511k with this method, and I only used the three 2x power-ups they gave me for free (I waited until I'd done well enough in the song, and got this the first time I used the multipliers). If you have more power-ups or higher levels, it should be easily possible even without an FC.

As I said, it's relatively short (under 5 minutes for that many notes, 1:30 shorter than Cry of Achilles). This is the song I've been using for points. 400k is fairly easy with the default power-up on Regular, so it can help on that as well.

I unlocked this from Cry of Achilles - Alter Bridge on Expert difficulty. I also earned
Guitar Hero LiveNo Need For A HeroThe No Need For A Hero achievement in Guitar Hero Live worth 73 pointsScore 420,000 points or more in a song without using a Hero Power in GHTV.

because I didn't use any Hero Powers. The song has some tough parts, but a lot of it is just chords which you can use to get a high enough score. I ended up with around 620k points, with one upgrade in both Multiplier and Points per Note.

It's also possible (and much easier) on Advanced. I got 581k with a 97% run and one multiplier upgrade.

I'd also just like to add I, too, got it on Advanced playing Cry of Achilles, scoring around 580k with one base point upgrade.

I obtained this achievement playing Chop Suey on Advanced with x7 Max Multiplier and a few x2 Hero Powers.
Got about 550,000 using the above but it needs to be a near perfect run. Luckily I think Chop Suey is still easy on Advanced if you can get around the fast single note/chord transitions.
Haven't played Cry of Achilles personally so don't know how much easier that may be but just wanted to post how I got this :)

Well, Cry of Achilles is tough at first, but when you get the hang out of the speed, it's not that hard (like he posted, there are some tough parts for sure)... it's definitely possible

I just got this by doing Cry of Achilles by Alter Bridge on Regular. I have level 3 base score, level 3 score multiplier and level 2 multiplier speed. If you manage to FC this song on regular, I scored 553, 443 without any power ups! This will obviously get you the achievement for 420,000 without any power ups as well. Hope this helps!

Power-ups - level 1
Base score - level 4
Multiplier - level 4
Multiplier speed - level 2

Using the above setup, I managed to get this on Pink - Try on expert.
Trust me, I am a VERY average player and normally struggle above Medium in these games, but Try is actually pretty easy on Expert.
I'd already got the 50 stars on Expert via this song and now I'm going for the bigger cheevos, like the 50 million points, this song can easily grab you 400,000+ points per go.

Once I'd upgraded to level 2 on the multiplier speed, this popped on my second play (I'd got 486,000 just before due to some stupid errors.

I used the default power up and got two of them that I used right at the end, bringing me in at 506k, although you might decide to use them on the lead ins to the first two choruses as those very quick notes, although the same note, can be deceptively quick and lose your multiplier very easily!

Good luck.

(Online - UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE)

This trophy can be earned more easily on expert or advanced difficulty though it is possible on regular if you purchase enough guitar upgrades. More details on that can be found below. Your score increases with each new note that you hit but maintaining high multipliers and playing songs with a lot of chords will boost the score higher. Make use of the guitar upgrades and hero powers to help you out.

The more guitar upgrades that you are able to purchase the better. See Specialist Shredder for more details. Some hero powers, such as 'Score Chaser' unlocked at level 19 which doubles your multiplier, can help even further in reaching the high scores. See Hero Power-ful for more details.

Song Recommendations

1) 'Famous' by Charli XCX - Almost the entire song is made up of three note chords on expert and so long as you can transition into the occasional bar chords (square notes), then you should find it very easy to play and can easily break past 500,000 points without ever using a Hero Power providing you have a few guitar upgrades. More guitar upgrades and hero powers will need to be introduced on the lower difficulties or if you struggle to maintain a multiplier.

2) 'Lazerray' by TV on the Radio - This song also consists almost entirely of chords and once you learn the rhythm and pace of strumming it's possible to push past the 500,000 mark if you maintained a high multiplier throughout. Your score guitar upgrades do not need to be maxed out to earn 500,000 in this but how many you need to make depends entirely on your own individual skill level and how much of that extra help you personally need to get through it, as well as what difficulty you play on. Lower ones like regular will require more score based upgrades to be able to achieve 500k.

3) 'Cry of Achilles' by Alter Bridge - Scores of almost 600k are possible on regular difficulty with sufficient guitar upgrades and appropriate hero powers (thanks to TheTwo1000 for the suggestion!). It's also possible to achieve a 1000 note streak on this on regular, see Amazing! for more details.

In principle, the trophy can be obtained simply by playing songs, and not by spoiling the trophy. But, you can make it easier to do.
1) In Guitar Upgrades, increase the base points per note (2nd column)
2) Also increase the maximum multiplier (3rd column)
3) Well, you can increase the 4th column to increase the speed of filling the multiplier in case of an error (4th column)
And then we go to GHTV, the song that everyone knows in this article)) Alter Bridge- Cry Of Achilles, set Regular, and calmly complete the trophy, if of course you play this song well, but it’s never too late to learn). And we get ours

PS: my guitar upgrade while completing this trophy. (1/2/4/2)
