How to unlock the Really, Really Good achievement in Guitar Hero Live - Definitive Guide

This is pretty self-explanatory - just play through the career on REGULAR (or higher) and get AWESOME in each set (not necessarily each song).

If all the sets show AWESOME but the achievement does not unlock, maybe you played the very first set on EASY. THat happened to me. When the game started, it automatically switched to easy. So the first show showed AWESOME but it actially hadn't been played on REGULAR. Unfortunately the game doesn't say which set was played at which difficulty.

In that case I suggest you play the first show again (it's the one at SoundDial, the one that starts with MY SONGS KNOW WHAT YOU DID IN THE DARK).

I have all 13 set lists played with Awesome on Advanced difficulty but the achievement only shows 12 out of 13... Anyone else having this issue?

I'm in the 12/13 camp. I just played through all 13 sets on Advanced in one sitting. Still nothing. If that didn't do it, I don't know what would.

after i finished all shows with awesome, the chievo didn't pop. i had the same problem with only 12 out of 13, then i've read the tip from MarekVit, it seems that the first show (the tutorial) you will play on easy. then i tried the first show again (Sounddial - Our Pasts Collide) and it popped. so i could confirm that you've to play this show again.

For anyone wondering. the crowd rating doesn't seem to be determined just on your percentage or number of stars. I had times I had 97%, a streak of 300+ notes, and five stars, and I only got Great. Other times, I got Awesome with 3-4 stars and only 87%. It seems to be based more on keeping the crowd positive AND making sure you activate your hero power at least a few times.

This achievo is still buggy in my case... The recent update didn't change anything unfortunately... Maybe praying to RNGesus will work eventually... ;)

My situation: I did it all on Casual some time ago. Came back this week and did one show on Regular. Both internal game and Achievement App showed progress. Came back the next day, App still showed progress , but the internal tracker returned me to 0 of 13.

So, I decided to play every set without leaving the GH Live area. I verified that the App did not acknowledge an increase when I completed my first set of the day ... and it was different than the one I previously completed. Completed a second new one, and App went up. Redid the one I did the other day, and App showed progress increased. So I kept playing each set and verifying progress with the App after each set.

Once I completed all of them, the achievement popped. Don't know if this will help anyone, but I wanted to add my experience.

Soundial > Our Pasts Collide (middle set) was the trick. That was the 1st one you play and it is on casual.

I was stuck at 12/13, all songs in Quickplay were played on Regular and higher. In my case it wasn't Soundial > Our Pasts Collide, but Rock the Block > Yearbook Ghosts (the first one at 19:00). After replaying that one on Regular or higher difficulty, my achievement finally popped.

Hope it helps.

I'm stuck at 92%, and I could swear I played ALL the sets on +Regular difficulty, since it appears AWESOME in all sets... I replayed basically every set on Advanced and got Awesome, but still stuck at 92%.
I wish I could see the set that is missing, but I cant quite figure out wich one - because, as I said, I could swear I played them all....
I'm pissed right now shock

I got stucked at 12/13 too. And after long replay and research i found it to be the // Rock the Block>>Vivid Screamer>>Song Love the bites(So do i) //. For me was one of the hardest songs on regular for Guitar Hero Live. The achievement is not glitched. For sure you missed a song. Try replay em all if this didint work.

I'm confused. Are you saying that you have to get 5 stars on every song individually, not just awesome on every set like the achievement says ?

Seems that i can't unlock this cheevo. Played every set on Regulat at least twice now and my tracker shows 92% and the ingame achievement tracker shows 12 out of 13 sets are with an awesome rating... No idea what else to do here...

I had the problem of not unlocking this. I did know I only played the opening venue on Casual, so I had to fix that. First I went to quickplay to play the individual songs that only had been completed on casual (dont go by the top right difficulty, wait for the high score list to load to see what difficulty you completed it on). After that was done, I went back to the Sounddial and played the Our Pasts Collide setlist, and it was good to go.

Done them all on regular. Says 9 of 13 completed. Glitched?

(Online - UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE)

From the main menu, select 'live' and click on either the Rock the Block or SoundDial festival. Within each one contains a series of sets of an average of three songs, all played out on stage in a first person perspective in front of a live audience. If you play well the crowd will cheer and if you play badly they will boo you. To earn an 'awesome' crowd rating in a song you need to perform consistently well by maintaining high note streaks to keep the crowd cheering throughout. If the screen goes blurry then the crowd reaction will soon turn negative unless you perform better. Star power provides a huge boost to the crowd reaction, even if you're performing badly so it's a good idea to save it for the difficult sections of a song to help you out.

To earn an overall 'awesome' rating for a set you need to aim for an 'awesome' rating for each individual song within it. There is some leniency however as I found I could get away with one 'great' rating (meaning the crowd only temporarily booed) so long as the other two songs were both ‘awesome’ (the crowd never booed). Earn an 'awesome' rating for every set within the Rock the Block and SoundDial festivals on at least regular difficulty or higher to earn the trophy.

Note: The very first festival you play after the tutorial in Rock the Block is automatically set to casual difficulty so unless you immediately change the difficulty before the first song begins, you will need to replay this set and any others you might have played on casual or basic even if you achieved an awesome rating on them.

I advise you to combine this achievement with two more: Whoa! and Meet The Bands!. To do this, you need to go through all the concerts at the usual difficulty level on “Awesome” (nothing difficult), for this you will have to play almost all the songs at 5 stars. After this, all the videos will open, all you have to do is watch them.

If you don't get a trophy, it doesn't mean it's glitched.

Most likely you started the first sets at a difficulty level lower than usual, remember which ones, replay them and your trophy.

Perhaps the trophy is glitchy. I played all the sets on "Awesome" on "Regular" difficulty and didn't drop out. I checked with a friend - the same thing. The trick is that in a set of three tracks, if two songs are played on “Awesome”, and one on “Great”, they give “Awesome” for the set. I started going through all the sets again, this time getting 5 stars and an “Awesome” rating everywhere. The trophy was given in the 4th set of the second Sound Dial concert.

You not only need to get through the set on "Awesome" but also that every song played on "Awesome" only then counts.

The tip from Haiyato is completely wrong. The main thing is that the set ends with "Awesome". That is, it is allowed that, for example, 2 out of 3 songs are “Awesome”, the 3rd is “Great” and the overall rating is “Awesome”. Although in such cases it happens that they give an overall rating of “Great” (which naturally does not suit us). In short, you don't have to play every song in the set on "Awesome", the main thing is to get this rating for the entire set as a whole.
PS Checked personally. Progress can be tracked in statistics: in the main menu, press 3 -> trophies.
