How to unlock the Replay King achievement in Guitar Hero Live - Definitive Guide

Make sure you're in Quickplay (Quickplay is part of GHLive, not GHTV), and just play songs. You can replay the same song over and over to keep earning more points towards your 20 million, but if you want it out of the way really fast you'll want to play on harder difficulties to score more.

Lived a Lie by You Me at Six is the song I've primarily used, as it's relatively short and I've been earning 350k each time on Expert difficulty.

If you aren't good enough to play on a higher difficulty, Luigi256 mentioned that playing I Will Wait by Mumford and Sons on Regular can earn you around 250k without a full combo.

To add to this, if you aren't quite ready for expert yet another good option is I Will Wait by Mumford & Sons. I managed to get 247,000 on regular and I don't remember getting a full combo on it either.

Eventually after getting good at I Will Wait on Advanced, I was getting around 400-440k each time I played it.
Got the achievement now and I honestly think I Will Wait is the best song to get points on.
Although other suggestions I have (Advanced difficulty) are
Nuclear Family - Green Day (3 mins) = 230-250k
My song know what you did - Fall Out boy (3 mins) = 200-220k
Counting Stars - One Rep = 250k ish
Mountain Sound - Of monsters and men = 230k ish

All of the above are easy chord type songs with very little or no guitar solos.

I definitely agree with I Will Wait for anyone not up to higher levels. Just got 291k with the power up method (missed one note). It's straightforward and nothing strange.

I think I can also literally play that song 60 times in a row. It's such a damn upbeat song.

I just wanna say I almost have this achievement and I've been almost exclusively been grinding out Fall Out Boy's MSKWYDITD and with optimal star power and an FC I'm getting ~290K - 300K every time. The song is pretty easy and short. Also a good song for the achievement for FC-ing 4 expert songs

For the people who are up on the expert levels, getting anywhere above 98% on I Will Wait will net you at least 500k. I've done this song about 10 times and have gone up 27%

Here are two songs I grinded to get max score from. I got the max score which is 384'040 on Lived A Lie and I got into Top 10 on The Kill (on accident). Tried to maximize it somewhat but wasn't able to somehow. :/
Maybe that helps certain people for this achievement.

It's possible to get close to 300k on Regular on I Will Wait. Just managed to get 299,812 on it with a full combo and optimal power up usage.

I just accumulate 4 power ups and unleash them on the second "I Will Wait, I Will Wait" section one after the other, there's just enough fast notes there to use 4 power ups in a row.
Then I accumulate another 3 of them and unleash them at the next "I Will Wait, I Will Wait" section, there should be a 4th power up at the start of this and again proceed to unleash 4 consecutive power ups, again there are just enough notes to get this whole section under x8 multiplier.

Oh and selecting "replay" the song on the result screen is fine when going for this achievement

From the main menu, select 'live' then click 'Quickplay' to see a list of all the songs that you have unlocked from the main career mode/festival sets. Each time you finish a song you will be awarded with a score based on how many notes you hit, the type of notes available (e.g. Power chords will score higher than single notes) and the difficulty you played on (higher difficulties have more notes available to be hit). You can also make use of the traditional guitar hero star power in Quickplay. Once it has been unlocked by hitting all of the star power notes in a row (those of a blue colour with a lightning bolt in the middle) you can press the hero power button on your controller or tilt the neck of your guitar to activate it. Once done, you will temporarily double your multiplier and earn more points so you should do this during moments in the song when many notes or chords are available.

Each time you hit a note the score will be automatically contributed towards the 20,000,000 total needed. This means that should you restart or quit a song before it's finished, your running total up to that point will still count. Therefore it's highly likely you will unlock this while attempting the 'Ooh You Fancy' trophy. If you don't rack up enough points before you unlock it then it should still have contributed quite significantly so keep playing songs in Quickplay to earn the final points needed to hit 20 million.

You don't need to be online to achieve this. Just play songs from the quick playlist in GH live and accumulate points
