How to unlock the Toppest Of Top Drawers achievement in Guitar Hero Live - Definitive Guide

This achievement is no longer glitched/unobtainable as of January 25th, 2016. The 2.0.2 patch has fixed the issue with the achievement not unlocking.

If you've already reached level 20, the achievement will pop after downloading the patch and connecting to ghtv

To reach level 20, you must gain a total of 36,350 status.

You get around 150 status for coming in first place in a song, so say you average around 80 status per song, that's about 450 songs.

I popped this around an hour before my 24 hour achievement so if you're going for that, this should come naturally.

(Online - UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE)

Each time you play a song in GHTV either through the free channels, the premium shows, or songs on demand, you are paired up with 9 other players who you compete against. The better you perform compared to the other players, the higher you will rank for that song (e.g. 1st, 2nd, 3rd place etc.) and the higher you rank the more experience you earn towards the next level. There are 20 levels in total. Simply keep playing GHTV and eventually you will earn enough experience to send you to level of 20.

Looks like a glitchy trophy. Throughout the game, the in-game trophy list displayed "0 out of 20", and when I reached level 20, the trophy did not drop out. And it is still listed as “0 out of 20”.

Update: Patch 1.04 fixed the bug. The trophy dropped the next time you entered the game.
