How to unlock the Whoa! achievement in Guitar Hero Live - Definitive Guide

You have to get 5 stars on all the songs from the GH Live part of the game. The best place to do this is in quick play because you can see your score and how many stars you have in the bottom portion of the screen. To get 5 stars make sure you play on a difficulty that you can handle being this is not difficulty sensitive and just get your multiplier up and use start power as you get it. You can track your progress in the achievement portion of the game which tells you how many songs you have 5 starred already. Once you 5 star them all the achievement will pop!

Does it have to be done on the same difficulty?

I don't think so. I already have 5 stars on all of them so i can't check. I think it is just get 5 stars on any difficulty other wise it would have said 5 stars on the same difficulty.

It doesn't have to be on the same difficulty for every song. i just got it and majority of the songs i 5 starred were on expert and some on regular and advanced

I can also confirm that they don't have to be done on the same difficulty. Thanks for posting!

I don't know why you are suggesting quick play as all stars earned on tour show up in quick play anyway and you have to finish all those for the other achievements. You'll most likely get this just from finishing the tour

Each time you finish playing a song in GH Live you will be awarded with an overall star rating out of 5. Your star rating is assisted by but not entirely down to, the percentage of notes that you hit. It is mostly affected by how consistent you perform by maintaining long note streaks. For example, you might finish one song with 90% notes hit and 5 stars because you frequently maintained long note streaks, while in another song you might score 96% but only get 4 stars because you frequently lost your note streak by missing single notes or over strumming.

The first thing you should do is play all of the festivals sets available in both Rock the Block and SoundDial on the difficulty you feel most comfortable with, performing to the best of your ability each time. Then, you might find you need to replay some of the sets to get an overall 'awesome' crowd rating for the 'Really, Really Good' trophy giving you another opportunity to 5 star songs that you previously didn't. Each time you perform a song in a festival set, your score and star rating is transferred to Quickplay so once both of these steps have been completed, move over to Quickplay.

Scroll through all the songs and look at your star rating. For each one you have yet to earn 5 stars in you need to replay them until you do. You can choose to challenge yourself by earning them on a higher difficulty or, if you want the trophy quicker, simply play on a low difficulty such as basic or casual. You can play each song on a different difficulty, e.g. 5* 'King for a Day' on Advanced and 5* ‘When You Were Young’ on Basic and still earn the trophy. There are 42 songs in total.

I advise you to combine this achievement with two more: Really, Really Good and Meet The Bands!. To do this, you need to go through all the concerts at the usual difficulty level on “Awesome” (nothing difficult), for this you will have to play almost all the songs at 5 stars. After this, all the videos will open, all you have to do is watch them.
