You earn cash by finishing songs in Career, Quickplay, or Band Quickplay. You can earn more cash by playing higher difficulties and performing better all around. After every song you finish it will tell you how much you've earned or your "cut." Accumulate $1,000,000 or the Rock Rank of 50.

You can attain this without playing, on Vocals. Plug your mic in and go to your Career and set it to Expert, then select No Sleep Till Brooklyn in the first gig. You may have to complete the gig (on any difficulty) before you can choose the song separately. You can also do this in Quickplay if you have the song unlocked already. You will need to place your mic in front of something that makes enough noise for the mic to pick up the sound constantly (any Speakers, Fan, (the shower?)). After you complete the song it should give you anywhere from $600 - $800 every time.
