GUNDAM VERSUS

Strikers are assist characters that help the player out while they are fighting against their opponent(s) by using attacks such as ranged attacks and melee attacks. These can either be pre-existing mobile suits that are playable, or CPU-Only mobile suits such as GM's, Zaku's, Jegan's and Geara Zulu's, to name a few. They also come in three different types of assists, all of which are as described below

• Shooting - Ranged attacks such as beam rifles and gerobi's (full screen laser attacks). Examples of mobile suits in this category include Zaku II (Thunderbolt), Dynames and ZZ Gundam
• Fighting - Melee attacks that come from weapons such as beam sabers, Full Armor ZZ Gundam's grab, and punches form Doan's Zaku II.
• Extra - Assists that do not attack the opponent in any way, shape, or form, but can defend the player. Only Phantom Gundam (DLC only) has this trait.

You can unlock strikers whenever a mobile suit levels up between MS Level 1 and MS Level 4 but be sure you head to the MS development tree (found under "Mobile Suit" in the main menu) to purchase them with the GP you have accumulated thus far while playing the game. This is where you can unlock strikers for 1,000 GP each and for an example of a mobile suit's development tree, please refer to the following screenshot:

Keep in mind that when going for this trophy and the ones above it, you will need to spend a total of at least 50,000 GP to unlock 50 of the game's strikers, you should also keep note that any strikers that you unlock from DLC mobile suits (i.e. Gundam AGE-1, Alvaaron and Pale Rider) will not count towards this trophy (unless if it also has a striker that you can also unlock from an existing mobile suit that's in the base game).

Additionally, you can easily earn GP by playing matches online, whether it's a ranked, casual, or player match or if you win or lose does not matter at all, but keep in mind that you will earn more GP from winning a match than you could from losing.
