GUNDAM VERSUS

Ultimate Battle mode is the game's survival mode where players fight against CPU-controlled opponents that come in waves of enemies that differ depending on the stage. Each difficulty in Ultimate Battle has a different number of waves that you will be seeing yourself fight in, all of which are described as listed below:

• Easy Survival - 15 Waves
• Normal Survival - 30 Waves
• Hard Survival - 50 Waves
• Boss Survival - 15 Waves where you fight against bosses

Each stage in Ultimate Battle consists of five waves each, and the fifth wave of each stage is a boss battle that comes in the form of either another mobile suit, or a mobile armor boss, this time with pilots controlling them. After the end of every fifth wave, you will be able to spend any BP (Battle Points) you have accumulated throughout the match on upgrading your mobile suit's offense, defense or refilling your force gauge (3,000 is the max) as seen in the screenshot below.

Additionally, there are also "Extra Waves" that occur throughout your Ultimate Battle playthrough that have the player perform various tasks for extra BP points you can use to spend on upgrading your mobile suit e.g. defeating more enemies than your opponents, dealing the most damage and cooperating with other pilots to fight against the boss,. These waves show up after each 10 waves have been completed normally and at random while playing online.
