Decay is basically the "poison" of the game and its a green element. You can either wait until you are at really low health and shoot a green barrel and the blast will kill you, or wait until you come across an enemy using a Decay weapon and just let it kill you

You have to die from the Decay DOT damage, not the bullet from a gun or explosion from a barrel.
