This can seem hard at first glance, but is actually pretty easily obtained on higher levels.
First things first, to farm money easily, the left branch in the character level up grants starter gold, bonus gold, gold on crits, and recycling items for money ; which all helps to farm money faster.
A lot of scrolls can also help with getting more money out of your run. (Devil's covenant for example granting more gold in exchange of max hp)
Fun fact, "dying" with 4k gold only implies getting knocked out, so you could get revive by teammates if playing coop.
Just save up until you get this, then you could also go for the "reforge for 2k at the same craftsman" which would require 2100 gold and 7 reforge of your weapons :)
