Gunfire Reborn

Wind God is the alternate boss for Anxi Desert, and is unlockable after defeating the Ichthyosaurus Offspring five times. The spawn rate once unlocked is an even 50/50 split between IO and Wind God. Note: You may also encounter Wind God in Matchmaking.

Some intel for the fight... Instead of spawning minions/other enemies, he spawns tornadoes and whirlpools which will drain health pretty quickly if you touch one.
Some of his tornadoes will follow you too, so if you're using a weapon that slows movement speed you won't be able to outrun without switching to a lighter weapon and/or dashing.
He also has periods of Invincibility where he surrounds himself in a giant tornado and chases after a player. (His health bar will state "Invincible")

He does not have shield or armor, making FIRE damage most effective. His weakpoint is his face.

My recommendation for him is to avoid using shotguns/ short range weapons. Something like a fire elemental Calvary or other mid to long range would be best. Dash upgrades would help, but I don't think they're necessary. Keep moving, don't stand still for too long. The Dual Fang could be a useful weapon to carry through Anxi Desert, as it does both fire and corrosion damage, so you'll be covered no matter which boss spawns here.

Great tip from PMS LT David "the main concept behind the fight is to bring the tornados that are following you over to the whirlpools and they will disappear. Makes for an easier fight instead of running around with 10 tornados on your tail."

He is much faster than the Offspring. Don't get discouraged if you can't beat him right away!
