How to unlock the Blitz achievement in GWENT: The Witcher Card Game - Definitive Guide

This is a good method for this achievement that requires only spending a total of 280 scraps - just 2 cards needed (credit to KPinJo on reddit).

First create a Nilfgaard deck with Emhyr Var Emreis as the leader. Emhyr is unlocked through the tutorial.

Then you need to create the following cards: 1x Necromancy (cost: 200 scraps), and 1x Rot Tosser (cost: 80 scraps).

*Necromancy allows you to play a bronze unit from your graveyard.
*Rot Tosser, when deployed in the ranged row, spawns a Cow Carcass card.

Fill the rest of the deck with whatever you want.

Once in a match play a Rot Tosser in round 1 on the melee row. Use Necromancy to resurrect it in another round and play it on the ranged row. Then replay it with Emhyr on the ranged row again.

This way you'll play 1x Necromancy, 2x Rot Tosser and 2x Cow Carcass for a total of 5 cards in 1 turn.

The achievement should unlock right away.

Edit 2019 -

- You will now need 1x Necromancy, and 2x Rot Tosser cards in your deck for this method to work.

- It seems that an update to the game somewhere down the line has made it so that when you use Necromancy on a card, it makes the card Doomed (this was not the case when the game first released). So when you move Rot Tosser to hand with Emhyr, Rot Tosser is removed from the game and you can't play it again.

- This method will still work as long as you have a 2nd Rot tosser card in hand and play it with Emhyr's ability instead.

Edit Late 2019 -

- Selecting a "leader" for your deck has been changed. You now select an "ability". The leader Emhyr Var Emreis is now called the Strategic Withdrawal ability.

I can confirm Howboutporkchop's comment: this solution is slightly flawed, you need 2x Rot Tossers not 1x. The problem with 1x is when you play Rot Tosser from the graveyard with Necromancy it gains Doomed so when you move it to hand with Emhyr it is removed from the game and you can't play it again. But if you have a 2nd Rot Tosser in hand you can play that with Emhyr's ability along with Necromancy on the 1st Rot Tosser and get the achievement that way. Still a good solution with that minor tweak.

Referencing Metal Crushers post, I was unable to replicate it. I did get the trophy/achievement but here is what I did differently.

Cards in my hand were; Necromancy (1), Rot Tosser (2). Leader Emhyr Var Emreis.

What I did was play Rot Tosser on whatever row and hopefully it gets killed. Play Necromancy on your recently killed Rot Tosser on the ranged row, use leader ability on the second Rot Tosser in your hand and play on the ranged row again.

I did this with the next combo:
Leader: Francesca
Royal decree, dandelion poet, any card in your hand, activate your leader ability and replay royal decree, prince villem.
Prince villem is very good if royal decree it's the only gold card in your deck, so you can play it easily, I got it in my first try

As of 9/29/19, Francesca can now ONLY be used for playing special scoia'tael units from the graveyard. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't seem to get more than four cards a round.

Edit: I got it! Here was my strategy:

Dandelion: poet, Roach, Rot tosser 1x, Emhyr as leader.

It may take some RNG, but use Dandelion (1/5), Roach will spawn (2/5), play rot tosser (3/5) & place the carcass (4/5), then use leader ability to replay rot tosser (5/5) & carcass (6/5). This worked for me in classic mode, but not in training.

Using the cards above and adding witchers (Eskel, Vesemir, Lambert) + Roach for thinning, I got it on my second try. Plus Alzur's Double Cross and Marching Orders for increased chances of pulling more cards.

The deck consisted of the above mentioned cards, with dwarf bronze package (and cheap elves).

Round 1: Thinning with witchers and Roach, while playing bad bronzes.

If you win, you can pass Round 2 and attempt this in the last round.
If you lose, you should attempt this after the opponent passes (in Round 2).

In hand, you want: Royal Decree and Prince Villem.
In deck, you want: Dandelion Poet and some other gold card(s).

1. Play Royal Decree, pull Dandelion Poet and play him. (2 cards played)
2. Play Prince Villem from hand and pull a gold card (and play it). (2 cards played)
3. Use Francesca ability for a new Royal Decree to pull a bronze card (e.g.). (2 cards played)

This was a 6 card combo, and can be achieved with Alzur's Double Cross and Marching Orders without Royal Decree.

Made by the leader of Francesca, by royal decree, and by Buttercup the Poet and Prince William. We throw the Royal Decree, take out a buttercup from it, walk around with a buttercup, take a card and play. In the same turn, we play as the Leader (Frances), take out the royal decree, and take out Prince William. TROF is yours

Thank you, the hint helped, but there is one extra card in it. I received the trophy without the prince, because... The cards are expensive, costing 800 pieces each, so I decided to take a chance and it worked. So you can shorten the hint to:
Made by the leader Francesca (Scoiataeli), "Royal Decree", and "Buttercup the Poet". We throw “Royal Decree”, take “Buttercup” from the deck, go “Buttercup”, take any card and play it. In the same turn, we take out the “Royal Decree” from the discard pile as leader Francesca and take out any card from the deck.
