How to unlock the Complete Set achievement in Hades - Definitive Guide
There are six companions to collect in the game. Each of them is earned by getting to 6 affinity from 6 specific characters (which is the hearts you get from giving them Nectar), doing a favor for them (usually just dialogue related stuff), and then giving them Ambrosia. Note, this requires speaking to these characters A LOT. If you've done most of the other prophecy quests, you're used to this by now, but in case you're not, just speak to them every time you see them, it will come up eventually.
Battie - Given by Magaera - Her favor is just waiting for a random cutscene to take place in Zagreus' room where she tells him that she only fights him because it's her job. After that you can give her the ambrosia.
Mort - Given by Thanatos - His favor is also just waiting for a specific dialogue after getting him to 6 affinity which involves speaking about Zagreus being strong enough to leave on his own. You must encounter him at least once in a run after getting him to full affinity for this to happen. Once the dialogue happens, you can give him the ambrosia. You might have to encounter him one more time, but I didn't when I did this.
Rib - Given by Skelly - His favor is activated by having 6 affinity and you must have unlocked 4 aspects of weapons that are not Zagreus (so, if you go to upgrade a weapon when you're in the courtyard, you can see the top upgrade is Aspect of Zagreus, and then the bottom three are Aspect of -something else-, you need 4 of those unlocked). After that, you'll have to kill him using the blade with Aspect of Zagreus maxed out. Then give him the ambrosia for the companion.
Shady - Given by Sisyphus - His favor is activated when at 6 affinity and you've spoken to his good pal, Bouldy, which just happens naturally. You also to have to throw Bouldy a nectar or two as well to get on his good side. Then you need to have the Administrative Chamber unlocked with a few diamonds (must have made it to Hades, I believe to unlock that), have 5 affinity with Magaera, talk with her and Hades, then talk to Nyx who must also be at 5 affinity, then talk to her again, then go to the Administrative Chamber and purchase the Knave-King's sentence for 4 diamonds, then finally go talk to Sisyphus again to set him free, THEN come find him one last time to give him the ambrosia.
Fidi - Given by Dusa - Her favor is a quest to buy 12 renovations for the Lounge, one must be a rug, and you have to clean up the mess that Cerberus made. After that, ambrosia, and companion given.
Antos - Given by Achilles - His favor involves getting him back together with Patroclus. You also need to get Patroclus to 6 affinity as well. After getting his affinity to 6 with Nectar, you'll get this quest. Follow the quest line which will start with Patroclus telling him he wants to do something about this, talking to Achilles, then talking to Nyx, then you need to spend 5 diamonds at the Contractor to get him his wish, then you have to go find him hanging out with Patroclus in Elysium. The next time you see him back in the underworld, you can give him ambrosia for the companion.

For Sisyphus... please put in there that you actually need to talk to and give nectar to the dang boulder... i wasted so much time not realizing it... "you've spoken to his good pal, Bouldy, which just happens naturally." It sounds like its automatic from talking to the main NPC.

There are six companions in the game. Each of them is earned by getting to six affinity with each one, doing them a favor, and then giving them an Ambrosia. This can and will take a VERY LONG TIME, and will require talking to each character every time you see them.
Fidi - Given by Dusa. Her favor involves cleaning up the lounge from the mess Cerberus made, as well as buying 12 renovations. Once that is complete give her Ambrosia and the companion is yours.
Rib - Given by Skelly. Favor is unlocked by giving him 6 nectars and having at least four weapon aspects unlocked that are not Aspect of Zagreus. Once this is done, he will ask you to kill him using a maxed-out Stygian Blade with the Aspect of Zagreus (level 5). Give him ambrosia to get the companion.
Shady - Given by Sisyphus. Give him six nectar and be able to talk to Bouldy. You may have to give Bouldy a couple of nectar as well. You will then need to have the administrative chamber unlocked and have Megaera at 5 hearts. Talk to Meg, talk to Hades, talk to Nyx (who also needs to be at 5 hearts), talk to Meg again to find the contract in the admin chamber, go to the House Contractor and purchase "The Knave-Kings Sentence for 4 diamonds, then go talk to Sisyphus to free him, then find him again to finally give him an ambrosia.
Battie - Given by Megaera. Her favor took the longest for me. It is just a random cutscene where she appears in Zag's room and tells him she only fights him because it's her job. Next time you see her give her an ambrosia.
Mort - Given by Thanatos. Much like Meg, his favor relies on specific dialogue regarding Zag being strong enough to escape on his own. You must encounter Thanatos during your run, and after getting him to full affinity, for this to happen. Once he says this you can give him ambrosia.
Antos - Given by Achilles. His favor involves getting him and Patroclus back together. This requires Patroclus to also be at 6 hearts. Eventually, Patroclus will mention trying to see Achilles again, talk to Achilles, talk to Nyx, unlock the contract in the admin chamber, buy it from the House Contractor for five diamonds, and then hope you find Achilles hanging with Patroclus in Elysium. Next time you see Achilles in the House you can give him Ambrosia.
This is not a fast achievement and you will spend a lot of time hoping for the correct dialogue to happen. Good luck.
Fidi - Given by Dusa. Her favor involves cleaning up the lounge from the mess Cerberus made, as well as buying 12 renovations. Once that is complete give her Ambrosia and the companion is yours.

Chthonic Companions (or Legendary Keepsakes) are trinkets you equip that give you the ability to summon a unique helper. One summons a dummy that takes the attention and damage off of you, one petrifies your enemies, others just deal blanket damage to the area, and so on. There are a total of 6 Companions to get, and the method is also quite similar to Keepsakes, but takes more time. The people who have Companions to get are: Megaera, Thanatos, Skelly, Sisyphus, Dusa, and Achilles.
How to get them:
After you've earned that person's Keepsake, you'll have to completely fill that person's Affinity Gauge (found in their Codex entry) until you reach the locked heart. That keyhole means you have to fulfill that person's Favor. "Favors" are personal quests they give you that you need to complete. Once you earn their favor and it unlocks, you can then gift them 1 Ambrosia. That very first time you give them Ambrosia, they will reward you with their Companion.
Using them:
You can only equip one at a time, like Keepsakes, and you equip them from the same display case in the Courtyard. That said, they cannot be changed mid-run. During your run, if you want to use your Companion, simply press at any time and it will summon them. However, not all Keepsakes can be used everywhere. Firstly, some Companions have certain bosses they cannot be used against. Secondly, all but 2 Companions cannot be used against Hades until he gives you the authority to do so. See the full list of Companions below for more specific details.
Leveling up:
While you do not have to max any of them for the trophies, it is a good idea to level the one(s) you plan to use. Unlike Keepsakes, leveling them does not make them grow stronger. Instead, each level gives you 1 more use per run. A level 1 Companion will only allow you to use them 1 time per run, whereas a level 2 can be used 2x, and so on, for a maximum of 5 uses at level 5. (Note: The Well of Charon has an item called "Night Spindle" that gives you 1 extra use for that run, and it can be stacked by purchasing more of that same item.)
The method of leveling Companions is different. Rather than by using them, it costs Ambrosia instead, and the cost increases with each level. To max out one Companion to level 5, it will cost 10 Ambrosia. Level 1 costs 1 Ambrosia, level 2 costs 2, and so on, until level 5 which costs 5 Ambrosia. This means that maxing all 6 Companions will cost 60 Ambrosia. Because this isn't needed for the trophies, I highly suggest you only level the Companion(s) you use, when you use them. There's no need to waste the Ambrosia and level all of them if you never use them.
For a complete list of all Chthonic Companions in the game, who they're from, and what they do, see below [SPOILER WARNING]:
1. Companion Battie (Megaera) - Your summon deals 2500 in an area near your closest foe, then continually down the line. [Cannot be used against any Fury sisters.]
2. Companion Mort (Thanatos) - Your summon deals 3500 damage in an area in front of you after a brief delay. [Cannot be used in Thanatos Encounters.]
3. Companion Rib (Skelly) - Your summon creates a distraction with 250 Health, provoking your foes to attack it until it dies. [Cannot be used against Charon.]
4. Companion Shady (Sisyphus) - Your summon deals 1000 damage in an area and drops a smattering of Health, Darkness, and Charon's Obols. [Each time you use it will drop: 4 Health pickups, each healing 10 Health; 1 Darkness pickup worth 10 Darkness; 1 Obol pickup worth 30 Obols.]
5. Companion Fidi (Dusa) - Your summon joins you for 30 sec., repeatedly firing shots that petrify foes and deal 70 damage.
6. Companion Antos (Achilles) - Your summon deals 1500 damage to 2 foes one after another.
Note: To start with, Companions Shady and Rib are the only 2 that can be used against Hades. However, by forging bonds with some people, you can get his authority, unlocking the use of the other 4. The requirements are:
