How to unlock the Three-Headed Boy achievement in Hades - Definitive Guide

After your first run you’ll end up in the house. Run up to Hades and on his right (your left) Cerberus will be laying there. Walk up and the prompt to pet the dog will be at the bottom of the screen. Pet him 10 times and it will unlock 👍

@Pitendo God mode doesn't affect cheevs. I just got the Smelly and escape Tarterus cheevs with God mode on.

Do you know if we can unlock achievements in god mode ? I killed the second boss in god mode but no achievement

Well I have the same issue . Defeated second area in god mode and nothings happened .

I had an issue with some achievements not unlocking and I closed that app and restarted the console. Everything unlocked as soon as I reloaded my save file.

God mode toggle is in the settings screen

This still isn't unlocking for me, and I've petted him so many times they should change the Achievement's name to Heavy Petting.

Apparently if you start the game from quick resume that screws up the achievements. Make sure you close out of the game from the dashboard each time.

Two Xbox resets later and starting a new game with God Mode off, and finally got a pop.

Also broken for me. Never used God mode. Killed local save, etc still no go. Oddly, one achievo did work in Hades (clear Tantalous)

It didn't popped for me. The problem was the "Quick resume". Close the game completely (kill process), launch the game and load your save. It popped for me. Hope it will for you

same problem I got the achievement for all weapons and the first 2 areas .... I did beat Area 3 today , pet cerberus over 10 times and got no achievements for it. The games achievement seem really buggy for some.

Game Pass achievements not really having a good run of late:

art of rally - buggy chevos
the ascent - 2 unobtainables
boyfriend dungeon - 2 unobtainables
hades - buggy chevos

basically every game that has game out recently has broken chevos

Cerberus is the large, red, three-headed dog lying down to the left of Hades in the main chamber of The House of Hades.
When standing next to Cerberus, press cn_R2 to pet him. Repeat this 10 times to unlock the trophy.
Can be done in one go, or cumulatively through to the game.

Standing near Hades' desk can be found the three headed dog Cerberus, you have to approach and press 1 to Pet him. Pretty simple and fast achievement.

This is another very easy, 'gimme' trophy. Cerberus is the utterly adorable 3-headed dog who always lays by Hades' side in the entrance. Merely approach Cerberus and press l2.png. Repeat this for a total of 10 times and you'll get the trophy.

On a side note, later in the game you can purchase two toys for Cerberus from the House Contractor, a ball and a stuffed animal. As cute as they are, just know that they don't do anything.
