How to unlock the Tools of the Architect achievement in Hades - Definitive Guide

Will come naturally over time. Once you unlock the list of prophecies, a scroll icon will show up on daedalus upgrades you have not selected yet. If you want to grind this out fast, simply always choose hammers when they show up as a reward, and choose the upgrades with scroll icons every run. Eventually if you keep doing this, the achievement will unlock.

You can also increase the alternate (green) version of the 10th talent, called “Dark Foresight”. Each rank gives you +2% greater chance for Gold Laurel rewards (Boons, Hammers, Obol and Poms) to increase your chance of finding hammers as a reward

Maybe common sense but the hammer upgrades from the Anvil of Fates (lose 1 but get 2 random upgrades) also count for this. Achievement popped for me when I bought the anvil right before the final boss room.

@Jehugasm you are right but this is more RNG. Of course it’s the end of the run, so your odds of getting new upgrades outweigh the detriment of losing a good upgrade. It’s possible to get 2 new ones or 2 olds ones as well.

Worth noting that I believe there are 12 Daedalus Upgrades per weapon, totaling 72, so you don't have to get all of them.

If you're regularly clearing runs with a weapon you'll get all 12, and by that point you're probably comfortable enough to use the others.

Daedalus Hammer enchantments are quite similar to Boons, but while Boons give you new powers, status effects, and so on, Daedalus Hammer enchantments are direct upgrades for your weapons. Each of the Infernal Arms has their own set of Hammer enchantments and you can see a list of them in the Fated Prophecies. These will show you which enchantments you've found at least once and which ones you're still missing. They offer a wide range of options from increasing damage output by certain attacks to slightly changing one of your moves to adding an AOE effect to your skills and so on. These rewards are (predictably) indicated by a Hammer icon. Note that you can only have 2 Hammer enchantments active in a run, though you can get 3 by purchasing the Anvil of Fates Hammer from Charon in the Temple of the Styx, which will swap 1 of your Hammer enchantments for 2 new ones.

To get this trophy, you simply need to find 50 different Hammer enchantments. Each of the 6 weapons has 13-15 Hammer enchantments, so as long as you keep using different weapons rather than just sticking with 1 or 2, you should get this trophy naturally as you play.

Obviously, try to go for the ones you have not gotten before. You don't need to know them by heart, because there will be a prophecy icon (looks like scrolls) on the enchantments you have never picked up before. Plus, if you hover over it, on the right hand side of the screen, it will say that it has been prophezied that you will take it.
