How to unlock the War-God's Bloodlust achievement in Hades - Definitive Guide
To get the prophecy added to the Fated List of Minor Prophecies you'll need to keep giving Ares nectar gifts on your runs. I think it takes 5 or 6 gifts.
To complete the prophecy you need to have killed 10,000 enemies across all of your runs. Kills attained prior to unlocking the prophecy still count towards this.
You can check how many kills you've attained by using the pool in your room (provided you've built it via the House Contractor).
With the required amount of kills, find Ares on a new run to finish the prophecy. You'll already have Ares' Blood-Filled Vial keepsake, so equip that and you'll be guaranteed to find him.

Requirements: Must have purchased the "Fated List of Minor Prophecies" job from the House Contractor.
The "War-God's Bloodlust" prophecy states: "The son of the god of the dead shall someday single-handedly vanquish entire legions of the dead, such that even the god of war cannot help but be impressed." Completing it rewards you with 2 Titan Blood.
This prophecy is quite simple and just requires you to defeat a total of 10,000 enemies. First you'll need to unlock this prophecy, as you won't have it to begin with. Thankfully it's very simple to unlock and will happen naturally as you play; once you've killed 2,000 enemies in total, the prophecy will unlock. That's it, then just keep completing runs until you've killed at least 10,000 enemies. An easy way to keep track is to purchase the "Pool, Scrying" from the House Contractor, located under the Bedchambers tab and costs only 10 Gemstones. The Scrying Pool will then appear in your bedroom, immediately to the left of the bed. Interacting with it will tell you how many escapes you've attempted and how many enemies you have killed.
Once you've defeated 10,000 enemies, the next time you talk to Ares (by accepting his Boon), the prophecy should complete and the trophy will pop. If it doesn't happen right away, keep going for Ares' Boons until you get the relevant dialogue. Use Ares' "Blood-Filled Vial" Keepsake to force his Boon to appear if you aren't finding any.
