The little hovering objects in a level are flairs, such as a garment or food for that matter, but you have to be holding it when the match ends, I got this in story mode.headspin

Scattered around the maps there are small items that you can pick up and wear by running over them. These are pieces of flair. As soon as you run them over you automatically pick it up, but if you are hit, you automatically drop it. If the game ends with you still wearing it, the game will end and you will get to keep the item and your new achievement.
