How to unlock the Delicious Brains achievement in Halo 3 - Definitive Guide

As of posting, it is only possible to get this achievement in rumble pit. Keep playing until infection gametype appears on a mythic map. If you start as a human, to get this achievement you need to be infected so run towards zombies and do not kill them and they will infect you. Once a zombie, you have to infect two other humans. In infection humans have limited radar so staying out of line of sight in essential and once close enough move in for the kill quickly before they have time to react to the red dot on their radar.

I would also advise going for the zombie repeller achievement in the same game.

This achievement will be easier to earn in the living dead double experience playlists.

This achievement can only be unlocked in rumble pit if all the players have the mythic pack, so i would advise playing with friends who also own the mythic map pack.

Living Dead XP playlist coming this weekend (24-27 April). And again around the same time in May. That'll be the place to get it.

Also, as of May, Rumble Pit and Team Doubles will REQUIRE Mythic Maps. So Infection style games should become slightly easier to obtain.

I think you have to "infect" two people in the same round, it cannot be across different rounds.

Can we get an update on this? Is Rumble Pit still the only playlist where you can get this?

if anyone has trouble getting kills as a zombie but you don't want your k/d to go down try waiting round the corner of a wall for an enemy to walk past then as soon as he comes round jump and lunge him so he can't see you

As of August 2021, you can STILL obtain both infection-related achievements:

- Delicious Brains - On a Mythic map, infected 2 humans during a ranked or social match.
- Zombie Repeller - On a Mythic map, killed 2 Zombies during a ranked or social match.

Rumble pit is currently broken via playlist selection, but the infection game mode "Mmm...Braiiins" can be found on the 7 on 7 playlist. My session group went in with 7 individual players, but you can have extra controllers for guests or at least a few players to start the matchmaking search.

The Mythic maps are as listed; Be sure to pay attention to the pictures because map variants still count!:
1. Assembly - Dismemberment (variant)
2. Orbital - Andromeda (variant)
3. Sandbox - Spooky House (variant)
4. Longshore - Dead Docks (variant)
5. Heretic
6. Citadel

HOW-TO GET ACHIEVEMENT

It took awhile hours to finally find the "Mmm... Braiiins" playlist on the CORRECT map (ours ended up being a map variant of Assembly). If it isn't on any of the maps listed, you'll have to search again until it rotates to the right map. We got the right playlist 2 searches in, but it was on a base map so it didn't unlock achievements. GLHF!

EDIT:
As of August 30th 2021, the Rumble Pit Playlist is working again! I saw several Braiiins playlist on different infection maps so go for it!

Like Zombie Repeller, just the opposite. You have to be the zombie in an Infection match and kill two humans (the non-infected players). Try and get active camo, as it will make it a lot harder for humans to detect you (Mythic Map Pack).
