How to unlock the Killing Frenzy achievement in Halo 3 - Definitive Guide
After you land, you may be able to get a clear view of a hill location to your left or right, depending on where it is at the moment. You will have to jump, facing the snipe spawn, to see over the ledge. You may get lucky if you throw a few grenades and get some shots in there, but do not do anything too risky. Going back and forth between the man cannons hardly ever draws attention because people want to get to the hill and you are only slowly killing people off.
This picture from haloforever.com shows where the Needler if you do not already know. It should be the exact same on the other side.
Hope it helps.
But yea, this wasn't to hard.

For experienced players this is quite easy as they know the maps well and position thereselves to their advantage with good weapons. This has to be done in the Lone Wolves playlist and you have to get 10 kills without dying to get the Killing Frenzy medal.
For an advantage you should use power weapons. These include the rocket launcher, energy sword, sniper rifle/beam rifle and shotgun. If you do pick up one of these then don't get too cocky running round the map 'cause you can still die. The sniper/beam rifle require the most skill. I'd stick to the shotgun in a close range map for example: Guardian and Snowbound. Try not to go into the open where you are an easy target. This brings me to my next point.
Camping: Staying in the same position on the map and waiting for people to come by without seeing you. Plus crouching:so you are not seen on the radar helps.
King of the hill is my preffered gametype to try this on stay back from the hill with a medium/long ranged weapon and you'll pick up kills easily. Everyone will be looking to pick up hill time so will be standing in pretty much the same position. Stealing kills is easily done on king of the hill. If you throw grenades in every now and then you will pick up kills because people will be shooting eachother where the hill is and have next to no life from their fights.
This could get frustrating but keep trying. Remember that every time you die you will learn something. If you do get cut off from your Frenzy by dying think how you could of improved on that situation and learn from it.
I simply got the energy sword and started going to town, most of the kills were lined up for me since everyone was going towards sword room. For the 4 kills I had to move out for I simply kept constant attention to my radar to see if enemies were coming at me, then proceeded to grab the active camo and killed the remaining targets. I ended up getting this, triple kill, and steppin razor in the same game.
This one is somewhat difficult, but it can also be quite easy depending on your strengths and the skill of your opponents. If you're a good sniper, grab that and hide, only popping out to kill someone and moving spots whenever you shoot. Getting the sword or rocket launcher is always a good idea.
The way I got this: On Snowbound, grab the Spartan Laser and then hop in the ghost. Aside from the Brute Shot and Plasma Grenades, the enemies now have little defense against you. Keep circling the map and splatter or shoot anyone and use your boost to run away if you're getting hurt. I went 14-0 with this method. Lost the match obviously, but got the achievement.
This must be done in the "Lone Wolves" game type.
