How to unlock the Didn't See It Comin' achievement in Halo 4 - Definitive Guide

You're best bet to get this is by going into the Majestic Team DLC and voting for SWAT. I got this achievement on my first SWAT game because a lot of people will be zooming in trying to get headshots across the map. Just sneak up on them and assassinate them. Of course this will require some luck too.

Edit: It seems on modes other than SWAT, a large amount of people use close combat rifles because they are effective on the DLC maps. People don't usually go into zoom mode while using these rifles. In SWAT, people are obviously made to use long range rifles which have a useful zoom mode.

Except Skyline. Too small, no one really stands still long enough to use a scope.

I actually got the achievement on Skyline but yeah, I'd have to agree there. It's still worth a shot though if you find yourself on SWAT skyline.

As of 2/19/15, playing just one or two Majestic maps will automatically pop all of the Majestic DLC achievements.

Bought the DLC but I can not throw it there, I close my 2000G this game but I can not go to the dlc map in order to try to get the achievements, what should I do to play this dlc, can anyone help me?

As of Jan 6th 2021 this achievement can be unlocked by playing Doubles on Skyline

Obtain this by holding down the melee button(Right bumper for me), when behind an enemy who is in zoom mode.

I found it difficult to find players in zoom mode, but I discovered that this achievement can be boosted with just 1 partner (or even by yourself with two controllers), thanks to the FFA playlist.

Just coordinate to meet up somewhere, have one player enter zoom mode, and then have the other player assassinate them. Easy.

i am on skyline my second controller is zoomed in with the dmr i go up behind him hold rb and no achievement?

are you in the matchmaking playlist, or a local game? You need to pop this achievement in one of the networking playlists.
