How to unlock the Give Him the Stick achievement in Halo 4 - Definitive Guide

You can pick up the Sticky Detonator either from the room to the back of where the two Hunters are or from the beginning of the level when you see a friendly soldier die and drop the weapon.

There's a Sticky Detonator at the start of the level. Look down after going through the very first door.

Very easy. To make it easier still, turn on the Cowbell skull for more power in explosions.

I found 3 locations that have ammo for the sticky detonator before you get to the hunters' room, but you don't even need it. There are 3 sticky detonators in that room. If you're standing by the one on the box looking out the window of the corner room. The door to the right, go straight to the corner and in the UNSC weapon crate on your right is two additional sticky dets! that's 12 in that room for a total of 24 in the level up to that point.

there is a hologram ability in the far right room behind the hunters. use this and the hunters go crazy on them. even on legendary this was easy to get. 3 shots to the back. dead

At the start of the mission, you will have a teammate die in front of you and drop a sticky detonator, make sure to pick it up.

Further along the mission, you will encounter two hunters in one room. I recommend trying to weaken them by throwing 1 sticky grenade at each hunter although this is not necessary. Once you see the hunters, use the sticky detonator to shoot directly at them, either in the head or in the back, and allow the grenades to explode on their bodies killing them within 2-3 shots maximum.

If you drop the weapon or need additional ammo, one can be found on the walls with the same room as the hunters.

Tip: there is a detonator in the room behind the hunters as well.

Just kill both Hunters with Sticky Detonator in mission 7 (Composer, Rally Point Alpha). You can do this on easy difficulty. There are Sticky Detonators in the room so don't worry - you don't need to bring one with you.

This was a really simple achievement, and can be done on Easy. This must be done solo campaign as it says in the description. On the way to the hunters before the cutscene with Dr. Tillson, there's tons of Sticky Detonator ammo to pick up (even though your gun holds 6 shots total), and that's more than enough to take out both hunters. Try and hit them in the head or on their back with the shots to kill them more easily.

What you have to do for this one is kill both hunters with just the sticky detonator. You cannot shoot them at all or else the achievement won't pop.

In the beginning of the level you walk up to the first door and see a marine die. He has a sticky detonator. Your going to want to grab that and keep it with you until you get to the hunters which is a bit later in the level. This can be done on easy so it is very simple to get through the level with only one weapon. Once you get to the hunters just try and shoot them on the head or their back. They die faster that way. Heres my video showing you how to get this one.

To do this you will need to hit the hunters with 2-3 shots to either the face, or the back, doing this on easy will make it slightly easier. To do this you will need to keep hold of the sticky detonator you start with, or if you can do it in less than 5 shots, pick the one up from the box in the back of the room

This achievement requires you to kill both hunters on the 7th mission(solo campaign only) using only the Sticky Detonator. You will find the Sticky detonator at the beginning of the level, there will also be one in the room with the Hunters. After a few shots directly at the Hunters they should both go down.

Campaign Mission 7 'Composer' specific. Online not required. Can be obtained on Easy+.
Use 'Mission Select' after initial Campaign playthrough if missed.

Kill both Hunters using only the Sticky Detonator while playing Solo.

At the start of the mission, you will have a teammate die in front of you and drop a sticky detonator, make sure to pick it up. It will look like this:

Sticky Detonator

Further along the mission, you will encounter two hunters in a laboratory room. 

The Sticky Detonator is a remotely detonated weapon. Press  to fire a sticky onto a Hunter. The sticky will only explode when you press  a second time.

You have 5 rounds in the Sticky Detonator, so play this level on Easy because it will take 2 Sticks to kill each one. Pick up extra rounds of ammo if you are playing on a higher difficulty.

An extra Sticky Detonator can be acquired in a weapon cabinet in the far left corner of the laboratory room. Another extra Sticky Detonator is found within the small white room within this laboratory.
