This is by far and away the best solo method I've found for this achievement. When you first read this method and/or watch the video, you won't really believe that it will work. But, it does. I just popped the achievement on my first try with this strategy.

I suggest simply watching the original video I've linked below (once again, not mine!), but for those who would prefer a text guide...I've provided that as well.

You'll want to do this on Shatter, preferably during Capture the Flag but any game type will work. I'll explain why CTF is preferred in a bit.

You're going to want to pick a starting loadout with plasma grenades. Also, jet pack can't hurt for a little extra mobility (you'll be sneaking into the enemy's base)...but that really comes down to personal preference.

At each base there are two separate gravity lifts on the bottom level. If you haven't found them before / aren't sure what to look for, it might be a little challenging to find them at first. They are fairly small circular pads and there will be upwards arrows on the walls right next to them.

Get to the top of the enemy base either using the gravity lifts or the jetpack. Now, you're going to want to throw one plasma grenade each down each gravity lift. When you throw it down, bounce it slightly off the wall rather than throwing it straight down (see video).

If you do it correctly, the plasma grenade will get stuck in the lift and keep bouncing up and down. When an enemy player uses the lift, they will get stuck, and you will get the kill.

Now, here's the weird part for the achievement. Get yourself killed (after making sure you have plasmas 'stuck' in each gravity lift). Now, stay relatively far away from the enemy base and just play as usual.

When your plasma grenade(s) kill an enemy, you'll get a bunch of medals including a Hail Mary, Kill from the Grave, Plasma kill, Assassination, and some other stuff possibly. In addition, the achievement will unlock. Don't ask why! It does, and it's awesome.

I'm not entirely sure if you actually need to die prior to the plasma kill for the achievement to pop, but I just followed that method because that's how it was done in the video.

Also, the reason I suggest CTF is because people rarely use the gravity lifts in the bases (took me around 4 minutes of waiting for me to get a plasma kill even on CTF). If you play Slayer or Extraction, there's a lot less action near the bases and it's less likely that someone will use the lift.

If you don't get a kill for a while, it's possible a teammate went up a lift and dislodged the plasma grenade...so you may want to periodically check and 'replant' plasma grenades in the lifts.

Boarding a enemy warthog in passenger seat and meleeing driver twice (while in the air for second hit) worked for me, be easy to boost with just one friend who drives for you... Hope that helps

Now They Fly? - 50G (Requires Crimson DLC)

Difficulty: 3/10

This Achievement can be difficult to get without boosting, therefore I suggest you boost to get it.

The best method is to go to a level like Wreckage and have your friend on the enemy team get in a Warthog and drive to the beginning of any ramp. There you will get in the passenger seat and melee him once. After he has been melee'd, have him drive off the ramp, and while in mid-air, melee him again to kill him and unlock the Achievement. This is the method I used so rest assured it will work.

super easy way to get while boosting or possibly while not, just use the sticky detonator. Stick someone on the other team and then while you are in a jump release the detonator exploding the poor sap you stuck and boom achievement.

Cant take credit for this another guy had the idea while boosting and it was a sinch getting it this way.

This achievement can get frustrating. So I recommend someone drive you around with operator. Also it is much easier if you ride on the passenger side of the warthog with either a Rocket Launcher or Sniper Rifle. Here is a video I made that shows you on How I got it.

Just to let you all know it can be done in a mongoose. was playing on harvest koth rolling around in hogs till i couldnt find any more. hopped on a mongoose to go to the otherside enemy was jetpacking down shooting a teammate just before he landed my goose bounced hit and splattered him and for some reason it popped

You can get it on Wreckage. Have someone get in the passenger seat of the warthog and just drive over a jump and splatter an enemy. This is how I got mine.

If you are in a boosting session, there is an extremely easy way to get this achievement.
Sit in the passenger seat of the warthog, and have somebody on the enemy team sit in the driver's seat beside you. Turn so that you are facing the enemy, and have the enemy drive the warthog into a man cannon (you can do this on Harvest, not too sure about the other Crimson maps). Once you are in the air, punch the driver until they die (twice usually works for the kill). Easy 50G :D
