Oh okay, I thought it was implied also. Just with how glitchy these achievements are, I wouldn't have been surprised if killing anyone would have unlocked this, friend or foe.

Ha! No kidding, one of my friends got it by killing someone randomly while jumping. But this method will work for sure. Good luck :)

If your friend is floating in the lift as well, you'll also get the other man cannon related achievements.

Toki, when on the grav lift did your feet touch the ground when you went to melee him? You could also just try what SeraphimNeeded said by getting both guys in the grav lift.

If going for it alone I would recommend capture the flag. bob in the enemy lift with the flag most people will rush to the enemy carrier (Most will. Some will just throw grenades etc.). The flag melee is instant kill making it easier. This was driving me nuts but got it first time trying this.

I got this achievement by running into someone that stuck me. We both died and I got it. Neither of us were off the ground. WTF.

The achievement is a bit glitched at the moment, but for those who are looking for a definitive method, this will suffice. I'm glad to see you got it though!

Where do you go to boost this, is it in custom game?

@ AR4DOR, you'll need to boost this in matchmaking, custom games won't work unfortunately. If you have several friends with the DLC (especially ones with multiple controllers), it's not too difficult to fill up a lobby, or you could always find a session on TA :)

Got it while jumping into a king of the hill area.... Jumped over a rock into the ring and had no bullets left,hit the guy and pop! Was nowhere near a man cannon! Liking these glitches ;)

Kinda same as ^^. Another player and I meleed each other at the same time on the ground and we both died and the achievement popped for me.

So the achievement says when LANDING from mancannon, This would imply that your feet are on the ground otherwise it would says BEFORE LANDING. I have done this achievement 4 or 5 times legit and no achievement pop. 343, it is safe to say that you guys suck at creating achievements and most of them are bugged because 343 has no programming skills of any kind, were they hired because they read coding for dummies?

As of 2/19/15, playing just one or two Crimson maps will automatically pop all of the Crimson DLC achievements.

Capture the flag is a pretty good playlist for these achievements

NOTE: Take this post with a grain of salt but if you're very very lucky, there's a small chance that during a game, ALL of the DLC achievements will unlock all at the same time. This happened to me and a party that I boosted with. Just get in a boosting party and go for this via boosting. I got this through a boosting (very difficult and horrible server connection issues) session and about a few minutes after I unlocked this, ALL remaining Crimson Map Pack DLC achievements all at once.

Like I said, I don't know if this is a 'blessed' glitch, a glitch that works in one's favor, but me and my teammates (and opponent players as well) suddenly got all DLC achievements all at once, sparing us tons of difficult work. This happened with all other DLC except for the Champions Title Update achievements.

Maybe give it a try. Though I recommend boosting but if you're very, very lucky (I say this with caution), you just might unlock ALL DLC achievements except the Champions Title Update achievements. Those will need TONS of boosting and a good sized team.

Just a helpful message. If your boosting from 360 make sure you check custom games to make sure the dlc levels are downloaded. We wasted 2 days cause we thought they were installed from the game details on 360. Download from in game marketplace or you wont get any of the maps you need when searching. Hope this helps. Can confirm all dlc cheevos pop when you play any map that's not champion or bullseye. Good luck!

I got it by shooting someone with my feet on the ground, its very glitchy!

Very surprised when i jumped meleed and two achievements popped before i hit the ground.

Confirmed. I was nowhere near a Man Cannon when this and ODST were unlocked.

same here I just was jetpacking & killing then pop!

Same thing here jumped off a ramp and meleed an enemy and got it. Did this on 1-4-13. So still is glitched as of now.

same thing. I got this by me and the other player meleed each other at the same time. We both killed each other and it popped. 1-10-13. Got ODST earlier by stick them and I jumped and died and got a kill from the grave and the achievement!
