How to unlock the Community achievement in Halo 5: Forge - Definitive Guide

This is a lot easier with the custom games browser released.

1. From the Main menu, go to Custom Games > Browser

2. Look at games that already have 7+ people in the game, and select one that is on a custom map (does not have a default name).

3. Play the game (you will most likely join in the middle of it) until it finishes, and your achievement will unlock.

Let me know if you have any questions. This method should work until this game's multiplayer is completely dead, which hopefully won't be for a long time.

I got this without 7 players being in the game simultaneously. As long as at least 7 players join during the match, even if they quit, the achievement will unlock as long as you complete the match.

Can confirm you can still get this without 7 other simultaneous players. Although matches are extremely scarce now, the few matches that appear usually have enough people joining for this achievement.

If you can't find anyone to play with try checking http://www.halolfg.com/ I was able to get into a full lobby within a few minutes by adding some gamertags on there and messaging them.

This is the hardest to achieve since you need to find enough people, and the online is pretty much dead these days, though if you use the custom games browser you may find one on a custom map with some people in it (make sure it is a custom map; most games that are played are played on standard ones).

Note: This can be glitchy in a good way: it's possible you don't all need to be in the game at once. If they join then leave at the end it should still unlock, though to help it may be best to ensure that people get at least one kill before leaving.

Also, if you have a second device (e.g. a laptop) that almost meets the minimum requirements you should still be able to join your own game. You also don't need an active Gold subscription to play online, just an account, so you could join with one gamertag, get a kill, quit, sign out of that account then re-join again.
