...this also worked for my friend who completed his fifth game shortly after me.

The best way to get consistent findable matches (to the dedicated server) is for the host to double box then invite the rest of the party to the main account then dummy account on a spare Xbox and separate fireteam, set both search methods to 'expanded' - Usually better if the host is in the Americas or Canada and make sure both consoles have an Open NAT

AS of 11/28/2020 you can earn this and the CTF related achievement in Super Fiesta playlist. This will require a great deal of grinding, as Stronghold seems to come up the least in the Super Fiesta Party playlist. Dashboard if you do not wish to play games other than stronghold.

Tried Super Fiesta and got 5 straight CTF games...no a problem cause now I don't need that achievement at least. I'm guessing this is going to require a boosting session. If you start one hit me up, if I need it I'll join if I'm available.

No one Plays Team Arena anymore so it's near impossible to get a match. I got 1 match last night after that it can't find any players same with tonight.

I'd suggest trying for the weekend, that is when I had good luck. But MP is def dying for this game. Glad I knocked these fairly simple ones out.

If you are from Europa you should wait until evening when your time zone will close to USA time zone (an ex. I played ~8pm Central Europe Time Zone). There are a lot of players from america at this time so it is much easier to find the match.

Can this be boosted in any way or will it require too many people? I’m in the UK so often don’t have enough players online to even start a match… how sad!!!

11/6/21: Team Arena was alive and well for me this week. It’s a random cycle of CTF, Slayer, Oddball, and Strongholds. And while it always seems like the game mode you need comes up the least, you can definitely still get this achievement without boosting.

Just leaving a comment. As of 11/13/2021, the Ranked Team Arena method is still working. I only needed two more games and they came up pretty quickly.

Well if it was bad before, it's even worse now. I wasn't paying attention to Infinite's release date and made the mistake of starting Halo 5 just a few days before it launched. Now the Halo player base has moved on leaving 5 and probably MCC MP decimated.

EDIT: Super Fiesta Party is a decent option for Flag Monger and Castle Crasher because it's still easy to find matches. I found a breakdown of Super Fiesta Party maps that matches my experience: it's 53% Slayer, 41% Husky Raid/Speed Flag (counts as CTF), 3% Oddball, and 3% Strongholds. I soon got Flag Monger without too much effort. Strongholds is so rare that if it hadn't been my third match, I never would have believed it was even an option. Strongholds comes up more often in Ranked Arena>Team Arena but matching there can take a while if you don't already have a fireteam.

I’m in the same boat. I can’t even get ranked team arena matches to show up during prime time on a weekend.

This game died really hard when infinite came out, be prepaired to play alot of slayer before you unlock these achievements. I got banned for Idling for 9 hours.

After reading what Gilbert Prime shared in this thread, I gave it a shot. The good news it works, the bad, it might take a while. I kept the game rolling for nearly 7 hours yesterday with no Stronghold matches; Today though, within an hour I had 2 stronghold matches which allowed me to finish the achievement.

Does BTB count? Just had a match but the percentage didn't change.

Don't think it does. Managed a SF Strongholds immediately after and the counter went up. Unfortunate, as looking at the map rotations BTSrongholds is far more common.

Only playlist that currently has strongholds is big team battle but it is not counting towards the achievement.

Yeah Big Team has it but the achievement needs arena. Only playlists it can be done in now is team arena, solo/duo queue team arena, and then the super fiesta 4v4 in social, but it's a very low chance to get it there

I can confirm the "Super Fiesta Party" still works, but can be a grind. There seemed to be no pattern of when you get a stronghold game with me getting one every few weeks (only played a couple of hours once a week) but then yesterday I got two matches. Perhaps this is already known but be aware the on console achieve tracker lags quite a bit. I ended up using the android xbox app to confirm a match registered.

Holy shit I'm on 4/5 and I just can;t find the last one, such an infuriating achievement.

I've played over 70 games of team Fiesta party in this crap an not got a single strongholds game yet. After like 60 games I decided to start quitting because absolutely sick of CTF and now I have a mega ban , this is honestly the most stupid achievement I've tried to get in a very longtime. Can't even get any games in ranked team arena.. I'm totally sick of this achievement.

Confirmed Ranked Team Arena was the best place to find Stronghold for me. I just earned this one.. Both Strongholds, CTF, and Slayer seem to be in a 2 consecutive game rotation...at least when I knocked this out. So it took a couple hours. Is just a pain since MP is clearly dying on this game. Glad to finally be getting these knocked out so I can focus on completing campaign related stuff and get back to the MCC grind. Hope this additional detail helps people. Stick with it and if you just can't find the peeps to play this start up a boost sesh. Feb 2021

Just to confirm for anyone still looking to do this. You can get stronghold in Team Arena ranked, Solo/Duo Arena ranked and Super Fiesta Party social. The odds of getting stronghold in super fiesta are about 1%. The odds of getting it in ranked are 0% without a boost party since the MP is dead. I started ranked boosting but the servers decide to not match you up for whatever reason sometimes. Region, rank and the person hosting the fireteam can all influence a matchup. Good luck

Hi all I'm looking to try and wrap up the last few multiplayer achievements for Halo 5 but the lobbies are dead for all but Ranked Slayer in the evenings and Warzone. I only need to do Castle Crasher, Off to the Races and Flag Monger.

Obviously I'm willing to help anyone else needing to wrap up some as well. I can also potentially use my kids Xboxes to add an extra 2 players.
