Halo 5: Guardians

You are taught how to ground pound early on in the game but just to reiterate; you must jump into the air and hold down the melee button to charge it whilst positioning the cursor on to your target.

The power core is a purple/blue sphere surrounded by a gyroscope frame and is pretty much identical to the one from a previous mission that you have to destroy but is a lot smaller.

When you arrive at the first power core, destroy all the enemies around it and then use climb up on top of one of those posts using the ice/snow to the side of it, you will then need to jump off towards the core and ground pound it.

It may take a few tries but you will have as much time as you need to do it.

Please note that this achievement unlocked for me on Easy although it states Heroic in the description.

Mission 15 - Guardians
Difficulty: Heroic (May unlock on Easy)

Once you reach the energy cores, clear out the enemies, and work your way up to the left side to find another energy core at the top of the hill. Once ready, climb the tall rock nearby and ground the energy core (jump and hold melee). It should be destroyed with a single hit if done correctly.

I did this on my Legendary run, without reading any guides and it wasn't hard at all.

In the very first core globe you come across on this level, while you're still on foot (therefore before the Mantis part), after clearing the area from enemies with the help of your team, if you look to the sides there will be "walls" where you can climb up to.

Choose one of them, preferably one where you can face the core straight ahead. Watch the rings rotation and observe its revolution pattern around the globe, so you won't waste time with unsuccessful attempts to hit the core.

You want to jump and hold in the air a little before the core gets exposed (all rings aligned to the side), using the stick to adjust the aim on it and then ground pound it.

As I've said before, just be patient and pay attention to the protective rings pattern so they won't block you from reaching and hitting the core.

This is pretty simple. When you get to your first gravity well, damage it until it turns red and then climb up the sides and do a ground pound directly onto the centre of it.
