How to unlock the Spartan Decimation achievement in Halo 5: Guardians - Definitive Guide

From the Main Menu, go down to Multiplayer, open "Social", from here, your best bet will be Quick Play, as this is always Slayer.

Simply play through 5 games, and once you've completed your 5th game, the achievement will pop.

*IMPORTANT*, you need to play Social or Ranked, as Custom Games will not count towards this as those are NOT "matchmade games".

If you are certain you have met the requirements for any achievements on halo 5 they are known for needing to be force unlocked. Load halo 5 > press the xbox button > press achievements. > all achievements > wait a few seconds and hopefully yours will unlock like mine did!

Under Arena Multiplayer, Team Slayer will have its own dedicated playlist, but will also appear in the rotation of the Team Arena playlist. In Slayer, the objective is to reach a pre-determined score (i.e. 50 kills) by killing the opponents on the enemy team. In this series classic game type, you’ll want to stay alert at all times and work with your teammates effectively to ensure the enemy never gets the advantage on you, be it through map control or weapon control.

This achievement will unlock once you’ve completed five games of Slayer, win or lose.
