The achievement description was a bit misleading cause I didn't know what "completed" meant. All you have to do is finish a game on each map-win or lose.

Ridiculous there is a down vote on this. You give all 6 maps and the fact you don't have to win, just complete a game win or lose.

More OT, Darkstar and Urban seem to cycle less than the other 4. I played for 3 hours last night and saw Darkstar twice and urban never.

LordChabelo, Yes you should be able to, the DLC on itself is free anyway. I think they made Halo 5 free for new people to experience the FF in the first place;) There is even a welcome pack.

Might not be a very savoury move but if you don't get a map you want before its loaded you can quit to dashboard and load halo back up again and try again. Shouldn't be too troublesome for the team as it will fill the gap you leave with someone else.

Edit: It unlocked later, seems the day I unlocked it my achievement tracker was bugged or something. Because I also had it with another achievement.

Why do we have to struggle so much to try all 6 maps? Is there anything broken on their end with map rotation? I remember the same problem on Halo 4. It would always give me 2 maps in Big team slayer.

I finally got the last map I needed (Urban), but joined the game half way through so the achievement didn't pop upon completion. So you need to finish a game (win/lose) AND you must be present for its entirety

Yeah. Unlocking Achievements lately have been very iffy. In most circumstances it'll say you have 100% progress towards an achievement and you'll unlock it eventually. I have had it to where the achievement won't unlock at all and I had to do the requirements again (this rarely happens though).

11th March 2017 - Just got my achievement. The achievement progress bar would only go up if I WON a match on the specific map. Played each map about 5 times and nothing would happen in the progress bar unless I won the match.

Temple definitely doesn't count. The other one that doesn't count is either Darkstar or Prospect. I forgot to check after a match but after finishing both it only progressed once. I've played and won a match on every map but Urban, so hopefully I'll get that map soon...

Every other map I get is Temple with March on Stormbreak and Attack on Sanctum making up another 40% of the maps I get. Why in the hell is there not an even distribution of maps. All I do is back out of maps I have already played till I get banned. Then go and play a game I actually want to. This achievo is fucking stupid.

I was having trouble getting skirmish at darkstar in the map rotation on heroic difficulty. Switched to legendary warzone firefight and got it on my 2nd map :)

Something is glitchy about this one. After finishing, yet losing, on Apex 7 I got the achievement Warlord but no credit towards Tour of Duty. I'm pretty sure I've played all of these now but am only 4/6

I just want to confirm that joining a game mid-round does not have any affect on your chances to get credit. I joined Skirmish on Darkstar during the final round and still got credit after we won. I'm not able to confirm whether I would've gotten credit if we hadn't won.

After playing all the maps and not getting this in the past, I decided to try again today. Lost in the 1st round on Skirmish on Darkstar and the achievement popped as soon as I left that match. I did exit out of matchmaking at the same time, so that could've been it, as well.

This may sound ridiculous, but make sure you pick warzone firefight. I think I wasted a good 5 hours play, playing and searching the wrong playlist.

Equally, in your service record - if you have not played a level it doesn’t show up.

Lastly, as soon as the team is found it shows you the map you will be playing, if it isn’t what you need, Home Screen and exit and log back in, quickest way.

Easiest way to make sure you know what map is left is to keep a list. You will most likely have to repeat maps. Be on the safe side and win each round.

Just as an update in 2021, all these maps can come up in the Warzone Firefight playlist. I never played any matches of Mythic Warzone Firefight and was able to get all 6 maps. It's also worth noting I had two extra maps pop up: "Temple" and "Prospect", and neither of these count toward the achievement. The last one I needed was Escape on A.R.C. and it took forever to pop up. Eventually I had to resort to leaving before the match started once I found the map was one I already had. Good luck!

Haha, finally got a 1 hour ban for leaving matches, guess I'm done for now. Most of the time I just dashboarded from the lobby menu, but sometimes it just doesn't tell you the map name for some reason. Not sure if the game tracks dashboarding for the bans, or only just selecting leave game.

Wanted to add to this to say that I could not get this achievement to progress at all until I played matches in the “Mythic Warzone Firefight” playlist. In case anyone else feels stuck and wonders what else to try.

Also, as of this message, Mythic Warzone Firefight is available all the time (I know the guide for another achievement said that at one point you could only get that playlist on weekends, but as of August 2021 it’s available 24/7.

In order to obtain this achievement, you will need to play Warzone Firefight and complete a match on all six available maps, win or lose. However, for "Not Your First Rodeo," you must obtain five wins total. The maps in this game mode are as follows:
