Works an absolute treat, got this one knocked off in about a minute, a big thumbs up here

Further tips: Turn on bandana skull, spam grenades, kill the little bulb Flood forms in large groups as they count. Got this in like 5sec w/ this.

I put 'Boom' on for an extra kick :D spammed away and actually died from the excessive explosions. When I respawned the game caught up and the cheevo popped :D Awesome!

Good solution. I didn't use it, but I wondered how many Flood spawn at this point in the game. I guess "infinite" answers that question hehe.

I also wanted to add that I am pretty sure the small, annoying, walking heads with tentacles Flood (don't know the name) count toward this achievement as well. I *just* got back onto the ship after taking the path we have to go through and this achievement popped for me after only a few Flood kills. I am 99.9% positive I didn't kill 100 Flood Combat Forms yet (unless the game keeps a tally even after you die which I doubt). As long as it took me to pop "This one's for Jenkins!" I am sure you don't just have to kill the Flood Combat Forms. This one is easier than This one's for Jenkins and should come naturally as you play through the level.

I'm still trying to figure out how this one got the 25G for the level and not the have every single elite be dead... That one I wasted time making sure that they weren't moving

If you’re just playing through the level on your first time, you’re very likely to get it without trying. It popped for me in the room where you find Keyes.

Just tried this on heroic with the bandana skull enabled (in co-op). It didn't unlock after killing hundreds of them each. We also tried getting over 100 kills each with just our guns instead of grenades. It never unlocked for either of us.

Did they update the game so that skulls disable all achievements, or just so that you can't unlock it in this spot? No idea.

Maybe this can only be done in single player. Other than my comment 2.5 years ago (a few up), I believe no one else here mentioned doing this in co-op. If anyone DOES happen to unlock this in co-op, please let us know here and I'll try for it again.

This must be done in single player. Reading Corn 0nThe Cobb's remarks led me to pay extra attention to this achievement's requirements. I've been doing a legendary playthrough on co-op for those achievements, and after 10 minutes of killing Flood after I fell down the hole, I figured something must be off. Sure enough, loaded up singleplayer with the Boom and Bandana Skulls, used the method in the solution and it popped in less than 5 min.
