Answering Soul Reaeper001, yes you can get bandana skull on legendary, i did it yesterday.

it is very hard, but just keep using sniper to kill grunts/brute and always use the drop wall to defend against the sentinels and when moving use the grappleshot/thruster all the time

always try to run away from the sentinels, sometimes they get stuck against a pillar.

for the first part, what I did was, go to the right, get the sniper, kill as many grunts i could, and when the sentinels went to the right, run to the left pillar, kept doing that till all grunts/brute were dead.

the second part is easier.

took me like 10 tries.

R3f1CuL's being a little dramatic. Once a skull is unlocked, it's unlocked for all other save files. So if you miss some, like on that first mission, you can go get the rest, then start a new game and collect any that you still need.

You need to carry the skulls over to a completely new game anyways in order to get the LASO achievement.

I'm with you on that, if a game doesn't have mission replay and expects you to start a new playthrough if you missed something (without the option of going back to explore), by definition I would think that's considered missable.

If you happen to miss the very final skull like I did, you have to play through the entire game again, there's literally no other option until mission replay is added.

No they carry over save files, like data pads.

@CrazyNomad I finally did it. What I did is completely go the pacifist route and just run on the sides and use my grappling hook like I’m Spiderman. Legit just ran away on the last level except for the first sequence.

For the bandana skull, I had fallen off the map from just trying to rush through it all and a sentinel followed my body down and blew up. This causes the door to lock, but you can do a full restart on the mission and it will reset this even though you will spawn in with the weapons you were just holding.

So I missed the 2 skulls in the beginning. If I start a new game and collect those 2 skulls, can I go back to my old game and those 2 skulls will be there as well?

I’m playing on Legendary and the last mission is just too hard to beat without killing the Sentinels. Guess I have to play through the whole game again on Easy just to get that skull.

there must be another requirement for the bandana skull as only not killing sentinels. i reached the room 2 times without killing them and it was closed, in the third run i changed one thing, i dont go to the weapons room and in that try the room was open.

The grunt birthday party skull glitched for me. I grabned the power seed, I put it in the receptacle I was supposed to and it even made a little sound. I came up to the window and it was still in the way.... I don't know what else to do

Need to start a new game but skulls and other collectibles are tracking through campaigns so the most painful part would be to get to the bandana skull’s level.

do you need to collect all the skulls in a single playthrough? I missed mission 2 before I realized you can't replay. If I get the other 11 and start a new game for Cowbell will the cheese pop?

I can see a lot of people are saying the door for the bandana skull won't unlock. I just got mine yesterday (Feb 16th 2022) without any issues, maybe a patch has fixed it.

Bandana is the only skull that's a bit of a pain to get. My recommendation, just run past the enemies in the big room where the sentinels are located. This is definitely doable on normal difficulty, which is what I did. The door opened and I got my skull.

warning for the bandana skull it seems to be bugged sometimes and even if you collect it and earn the achievement for getting all the skulls the in game tracker my not track it and then if you try to get it on anoter playthrough you can't and the skull is missing possably locking you out of the Headmaster achievement

For anyone who is using the mission replay feature from the Winter Update, the achievement progress won’t track progress anymore. Do not worry, I tested myself and achievement still pops without progress tracking. I tested this on a few different non-tracking achievements.

idk if anyone had the same problem as me and my husband. but if you can't find the blind skull in the location. Do the campaign till you reach the spire. I had followed every video about it, asked a few of my friends that had completed the game and search on why we can't find the skull in that location. One video had shown a tower that we didn't had on the map since we pretty much started and we both figured we'll come back later, when when we done the excavation and came out the other side with the spire being next we had that tower and decide to research. load and behold everything that wasn't there, dead body and blue lights was now.

I have popped this achievement, but I can only use 11 of the 12 skulls. It says I'm missing Grunt Birthday, but I have 1/1 for Repository skulls.

This should be marked as missable for the time being tbh. I just went through on Legendary and you can't get back to MANY of these places until they decide to add mission replay. I guess I could try and do it on the speed run ach in 8 hours but pretty lame either way.

Can't get the Bandana skull door to unlock.

I sprint/grapple through the three or so sections with enemies before it, not killing any sentinels, or even shooting, yet the door is locked.

Is there any sentinels earlier I'm the mission I might have killed? Any suggestions?

I have the above problem, I picked the skull up, got the Catacomb achievement and immediately checked the map but it's reading as 0/1 ie not collected. Weird! Bandana is available for me to equip though so I can't foresee any issue with Headmaster when they get around to fixing it. Anyone else think this will cause problems? I managed to get it on Heroic btw, by just legging it through the room with Sentinels and grappling away from the bad guys - took like 20 attempts so hats off to the players that managed this on Legendary!!

I have created a comprehensive collectible AND miscellaneous achievement guide that covers every collectible in the game as well as key points to get all the miscellaneous achievements in the game in CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER. If you follow along my guide will net you all achievements and all you will have left is your LASO playthrough, speedrun, and any higher difficulty tiers you did not play on for this playthrough. For ease sake I do recommend going through on a lower difficulty so we can blast through our collectible run and get the miscellaneous achievements a little easier! **Pro tip from Zarbon001 about the Bandana skull...if you accidentally kill a sentinel, you can restart the mission even if you mistakenly went further and got a checkpoint. So as long as you don't finish the level you can still restart and get that last skull without having the replay the entire campaign! Big thanks to Zarbon001***

Your guides are amazing. One small note for the bandanna skull. If you get to the bridge and the door is not unlocked you can just hit start and then restart the mission. Then you can make sure not to kill any setinals and the door will be unlocked.
