Partway through the campaign you and the pilot will be shot down by AA-guns, once you crash three markers will come up in which three of the Bannished AA-guns will need to be destroyed. Once you enter the first gun , a cutscene will play on but afterwards the weapon Ai will tell you your all set and a power cell (glowing yellow crystal) will appear, once you shoot it, the AA gun begins to self destruct, *only after it expodes the timer starts*, so you have 20mins to get to the last two , for me I attacked afew enemies on the way but didn't waste all that time attacking them all. Once you enter the final gun and destroy it, the achievement should pop if done in the timely manner.
*Note* Halo infinite achievements on my end at least are delayed for a minute or 2 , so don't worry if it doesn't pop right away, in fact close out the game if nothing pops within the next 5mins, I did this for some other achievements and it worked.

Honestly i didn’t want to bother with this one. Hate timed achievement. So I was fine with missing it. So I take my time, took me at least one hour as i love looking under every rock. But what a surprise when it pop. I was playing on easy.

I can confirm that dying multiple times and taking more than 20 minutes on legendary, the achievement does still pop. I started on the far right AA gun. I skirted around the right side of it and booked it into the the cave the hunters are guarding killing the jackals in there quickly, popped out to activate the grav lift and grappled to it. Next I took more time on the middle AA gun, I got on top of the building next to the shade turret and sniped as much as I could before heading inside. The 3rd gun I followed the path up the mountain from gun 2, keeping to the right of it. Once underneath I grappled up keeping the gun on the left as high as I could, which meant I ended up above the gun and was able to jump down to the door and destroy it. I think I took longer than 20 minutes by how many times I died, if I was under 20 minutes it would only just have been under 20.

I did it on easy in about 10 min. just ran to the second and third gun and shut it down. :)

If you've got a maxed-out Grappleshot, this can even be done on Legendary. It takes about a minute or so to move from AA gun to AA gun while avoiding pretty much all enemies that you can avoid, and two of the AA guns allow you to get inside the gun immediately using your grapple.

I did this on legendary, didn't think of grappling straight into the grav lift i used the drop shield to protect myself while activating the grav lift and opening the doors then grappled up the AA gun and in through the balcony bit, i died a few times but it was quick and got the job done good luck everyone.

Think this might actually be a glitched achivement got this by accident playing on legendary and i must have spent 20 minutes dying to the hunters at one of the AA guns alone

Interestingly on Steam the description is just "take down all 3 banished AA guns", and doesn't mention anything about a time limit.

If anyone is concerned with the tine limit for this achievement, I would recommend going through all 3 AA guns, killing all the enemies you can on the way, and blowing up the third one you go to. Should give you a stupidly generous amount of time to blow up the other two and get this done.

this unlocked for me and I am 99% sure it took me longer than 20 minutes playing heroic and fighting all the enemies

I cleared through all 3 AA guns enemies before activating the 3rd or last one first. Then as I made my way back to the 2nd AA gun to simply activate it, I found the enemies had all respawned. Same goes for the 1st AA.

I know for sure it took me longer than 20 min on heroic. I took my time and the hunters drained a lot of my time too. Glitched in a good way

I did it in 10 minutes on Normal. So there is plenty of time for those concerned.

The only explanation I can have to people, like myself, who got it on Legendary, is I did not dilly dally around when I was not death cycling, so maybe it's 20 minutes, of actually alive time? Otherwise the time shouldn't matter.

Playing on legendary I didn’t expect to get this. Destroyed the 1st AA gun then went exploring for a while, ended the session and destroyed the other 2 AA guns in a separate session at a leisurely pace and the achievement still popped for me.

I literally did exactly what the title suggest, ran and only that. I ignored killing any enemies. Went for the controls to the lift, dashed to the beam for two of them, and grappled to the open door of the third. Completed in under 8 minutes.

I probably spent close to 2 hours doing this while scavenging around the area looking for loot and I still somehow got the achievement. I resumed my saved file at 10pm which was right at the point I was going to approach the first AA gun and finished the third just now at 11:44pm. That is definitely a generous or glitched achievement, but no complaints. Also the fact 11.9% of gamers getting it makes it seem extra suspect.

Dying reverts your time back to what it was at the checkpoint that you're reset to. if you die for 3 hours staight you can still get the achievement.

My game froze (where the controller vibrates constantly and can’t do anything) as I got third AA gun and had to restart game. Didn’t pop for me.
EDIT: Never mind. After about 10 mins of running around getting the collectibles for this location it popped for me.

I destroyed first AA gun on 18:20 and killed Hyperius and Tovarus on 18:40, so it’s 1000% sure I wrecked 3 AA guns in under 20 minutes. Still didn’t unlock.
Update to my comment: I’m on last mission and this one still didn’t unlock. Glitched for me…

Did this as fast as humanly possible and no unlock, but it did unlock quite a while later. It appears the game starts a timer after the first AA cannon is destroyed and then checks 20 mins later whether the other two have been destroyed. So for anyone that doesn't get it after the 3rd cannon blows up just keep playing.

Didn't even know this was an achievement, and I spent ages mopping all the enemies around each AA turret 😅… thankfully, I managed to unlock despite seemingly wasting time!

Is it possible to get the achievement for destroing the first cannon in one day and the 20 minutes achievment for the other two in an another day? In other terms if I leave the game after the destruction of the first cannon, the 20 minutes timer stops? In order to complete the other achievment in another day? Thanks in advance for the replies

This achievement is in mission 8: Pelican Down
I died a bunch of times on my way to the second gun so I think the timer is "reset" to your last checkpoint. On destroying the third gun I wanted to swap out my weapon and got stuck inside because the doors closed. I died in the explosion of the third AA gun but I got my achievement and respawned again at the 3rd core. So there are a lot of things that can go wrong and you still get the achievement. I did it on Heroic.

I was slightly worried about this one but no need, extremely easy with plentiful time to get around. The objectives are close together with loads of vehicles available to ferry you about 👍

So this didn't pop for me, easily completed the requirements in about 10 minutes, but no pop, any ideas? Was playing on Normal difficulty.
Edit: Got it, had to to restart the mission, it turns out if you die from the explosion of the 3rd gun, then that voids the achievement, even if you then destroy it and leave in the required time (Not that time seems to matter anyway based on other responses).

My experience is the same with Stormborn64, there is NO WAY I did this in under 20 minutes after knocking out the first one. But, it popped for me anyway after knocking down the third one. Perhaps it has (and will) happened for many.

Hello everyone, I can confirm that for me the time was not a real requirement at all, I did it on legendary, and I like to take my time, so I played like for 40 minutes or even more so. And the Achievement still popped. One thing is that even though I died multiple times I still did it in one run. Did not log out or leave the game suspended or anything.

Definitely was surprised this was an achievement as 2 of the 3 guns i just took a ghost and sped through the environment to each terminal of the gravity lifts and immediately just used the off switch as I especially wasn't expecting more than 1 cinematic speech from the leader
