I have +10 cores left after the achievement.

I think there is some kind of bug in the game that gives duplicate cores. I was basically getting 2 cores every time I found one. I have all skills unlocked and only 60% of the progress for this achievement.

I've also encountered the issue of having way more cores than is necessary to upgrade all the equipment, and I haven't unlocked the achievement for collecting all the cores

So I'm not sure if it's happened to others but I missed a core in the Tower mission and wasn't able to get it afterwards. When starting a new campaign, I collected it but didn't have the achievement pop since it was the last one I needed. So I'm assuming they need to be collected I one playthrough?

Games sometimes put extra level up items in to games make sure you can level up fully without being a completionist.

So I got all of them on the map but looks like I missed a few during missions. Once 343 patches replaying missions…we should be able to go back and get it done correct? Not sure if it’ll be retroactive or if it’ll only work for new save files.

there is no spartan cores in missions, there's 1 in the tower but that's accessible in free roam.

I'm going nuts here. Sorted through my missions list, I have every single core listed. Still no chievo pop. I've scanned the map like 8 times and scrolled through my missions list just as many times. Says I'm missing one in the achievement list.

I'm getting a similar thing, there appears to be one missing in the bottom right section of the map according to the legend but I don't see any marker in the area that isn't cleared. It already is a problem that you don't see audio logs or propaganda towers after clearing a FOB, with this I don't even know if these are bugs or intended.
Pretty sure everything apart from skulls need to be collected in one playthrough so this puts a hold on me going for other runs. The game is great, but I wish someone had thought about generally making the UI better and easier to navigate.

you're definitely missing some somewhere on the map, there's a few cores "hidden" in outposts and areas where there may be overlap particularly with propaganda towers there's also a borderline hidden one at a banished AA gun which doesn't show on your map unless you stand within like no joke 10 metres of it, you'd only get that one if you were hunting them out by audio or with a guide while playing.

clearing area by area especially mission areas is the best tip for this achievement. beacons have cores literally on the beacon too.

There's one that's hidden by the bridge. On the left side follow the green markers. That was my last one.

The Graveyards one refused to show up, even after a low flyby. It may need to be located manually. I've already cleared the area of everything else so its not the tower that spawns the point on the map.

I'm fully upgraded with 22 extra cores. No achievement yet, but why do many extra????

I could not agree more. I know my eyesight sucks, but the UI text is unnecessarily small.

So I found all 45 but no achievement... any ideas?

sometimes the armour lockers gives you a core (no idea why) and ofc some cores will give you 2 instead of 1. at one point I had like 16 in my inventory and upgraded grapple shot once and it took the "duplicate cores"and fully upgraded it. this was after picking up 4 cores and 4 lockers. I should have about 6 cores leftover after I pick the rest up. I need to use 12 to fully upgrade the remaining 4 abilities BUT there's 18 left on the map.
