Once you have the Bandana skull, load one of your saves with it that skull active. This removes the cool down for equipment. Then just keep pressing the button to use the Thruster over and over until this achievement pops. That's it! Also works great for all the other equipment achievements.

Even not upgraded the Thruster cooldown is really short compared to something like Dropwall. It’s about 6 seconds with no upgrades (4.5-5 upgraded), you can grind this out in less than 5 minutes if needed. Just run back and forth in a FOB or something.

I thought achievements don't unlock if any skulls are active? (With the exception of LASO)

A good way to get this achievement out of the way is to just utilize it over and over as you are going from point A to point B in your campaign run or whatever it is that you are doing. I found that the thruster and drop wall were the two that I utilized the least. Once you have your thruster upgraded you should be able to get this done pretty quick.

Legit same, honestly, they should've made thruster a part of the suit like the grappler as you get so use to using the grappler because its baked into the suit that you don't really think to use anything else besides MAYBE the drop wall for situations like the boss battles with lasers shooting you, so i will have to be grinding the various upgrade achievements out on my LASO run
