How to unlock the Running Laps achievement in Halo Infinite - Definitive Guide
12/5/23 - Bot Bootcamp has been removed again. Most likely caused by the addition of the PvE mode Firefight: King of the Hill.
The old easy way to get this achievement was to play CTF on the Bot Bootcamp playlist, but now the mode has been removed once again with the addition of Firefight: King of the Hill. However, there is still another easy way to unlock the achievement, and that is to play the Husky Raid Playlist.
Getting the achievement playing Husky Raid
Husky Raid is a 4v4 CTF playlist that has you spawn in with random weapons and equipment, the same as the Fiesta game mode. The maps in the playlist are small and straightforward, and some are just comprised of a single lane. In this mode, you can use equipment while carrying the flag, so you can use the Grappleshot or Thruster to quickly capture the enemy flag.
Additionally, it can be easy to keep the enemy in spawn/hold them back, which will make securing the flag even more easy. Usually, it will happen when one or more people have the gravity hammer or other weapons to kill the enemy when they spawn back. You can take advantage of this to capture the enemy flag multiple times to get the achievement.
The maps are quite small and I'll say that running towards the enemy flag and back to your flag post could take more or less 30 seconds depending on the map. Flags can also be dropped so if you have a friend or somehow got the random to know that you want the flag they can drop it for you to cap. I know that on PC you can type in a game, or you can use a mic but I haven’t heard anybody in a bot game before.
A good way to capture the flag twice in a bot game is to be the first one to cap the flag and then go back to the enemy flag spot but if somebody else got the flag already then you can wait for them to cap it, and then the flag will spawn back and you're already next to the flag and cap it for your 2nd time.
Hope that helps! :)

I earned this achievement 2-3 weeks ago on my Xbox. Today, as I was doing nothing relevant on my computer, the achievement popped through the app. I've earned and popped a bunch of Halo Infinite achievements within that time period. Gotta love Xbox...

Husky Raid was where I got this.
You just have to try over and over until you get lucky. There will be times where both teams are at a stalemate (most of the time), other times the opposing team will steam roll you and spawn kill you the entire round, other times someone on your team is so good that they get all the flags (or you get killed right before you return the flag and then someone else on your team returns it).... But then once in a while, the stars align and you get 3 flags returned in one game!

This one is straightforward, load up a BTB match with some friends and have them cover you as you run the flag.
To get this Achievement you must capture the flag twice in either a Matchmaking or Bot Bootcamp game.
It’s easier earning this Achievement in Bot Bootcamp since the bots aren’t good at defending their flag.
