Took me a few tries to get this. 21 achievements so far in 24 hours lol

This gun is terrible lmao. I tried plinking their shields a bunch with the pistol THEN charging it up and it still doesn't kill them.

Where is it? What mode?

I hold RT but it didn't do a charge shot why?

Just an absolute crappy weapon. Ended up getting lucky the guy walked back into the flames and died postmortem

This one was lucky, got while half a team was on the flag. got this achievement and an overkill so also got the mythical medal achievement. But overall this is a terrible gun. Doing an objective mode is your best sot anyway. Stronghold also seems a good option, just burn the ring when someone is capturing it.

Does this spawn in bot bootcamp?

I've played about 100 matches in Bot Bootcamp and I have never seen a Ravager. I feel pretty confident saying it doesn't spawn in that mode. Which is unfortunate, because the Ravager is absolutely awful. It's universally regarded by the community as the worst weapon in the game.

Awful weapon… I must have shot 10-15 enemies & enemies vehicles with a 50% or more of a charged up shot & it barely damages them. Like a previous comment says you need to go shoot an enemy that has already been damaged a solid amount by an ally. I shot at one as he was running away after being damaged by an ally & the shot killed him instantly. I was thrilled as I would never have to touch that damn weapon again lol. I will say the weapon spawns a solid amount in Big Team so you’ll have no issues finding one.

I definitely recommend trying to destroy vehicles with it if you get the chance. I got a double on a warthog with it. Doesn’t seem to do a lot of damage to players but it wrecks vehicles.

I got it in total control: basically wait for someone to try capturing territory and then plaster the ground.
I got lucky though; my team were pouring in shots so they did the damage and I got the kill.

I got this in Bot Bootcamp on Behemoth. I used my pistol to take down a bot's shields, then I hit him directly with a charged shot from the Ravager.

Didnt think it was on a Bot bootcamp Map.
Will have a look tonight.

It is in Bootcamp on the map Recharge, can be done but the weapon does suck even against bots

Perfect time to try & get this one is during this week’s event “Fracture: Tenrai” as the playlist is Feista. You will spawn with random weapons every time & inevitably the Ravager.

Better than trying to get it in BTB or anywhere else it might be.

Can confirm its on the map Behemoth. Got it last night on bot bootcamp.

How charged up does this thing have to be literally 100% charged? I have gotten multiple kills with this thing charged up and still no achievement

just got it in Fiesta. Hardest achievement in the game done, MP wise.

Yeah this gun is just plain awful in getting this achievement, probably good for types like stronghold or something of the like but I got a triple kill with it fully charged in fiesta and no achievement...so annoying

I got it on Recharge (Strongholds). It spawns above point Bravo. I weakened somebody first with the Commando or the AR.

Just a side note. You have to kill someone with the charged shot instantly. Killing someone with the fire on the ground doesn't count, at least for me.

I got it on Behemoth against a bot. It took two charged shots for the kill. Total gimmick weapon though. Useless against human opponents unless they oblige you by standing still as they gradually burn to death.

I can confirm that killing them with the fire works, assuming it comes from a fully charged shot

I actually got this by finishing a guy off with an assault rifle that had already been shot with a ravager from a team mate

I just got this during a BTB on Highpower, I was able to grab an active camo & ran up on someone while they were distracted with my teammates. So my input is that having active camo definitely helped with obtaining it

Just got it on Fiesta on Behemoth. I saw there was a concentration of players near one of the vehicle spawn points. Fired off several charged shots from far far away and managed to get a kill. I'd forgotten this was an Achievement until it popped up 😅

I got this achievement with a from-the-grave kill. I shot an enemy with a full charge, switched to another gun and shot them a few times, got killed, then the enemy died to the fire on the ground. Cheevo popped immediately after

Lucky enough to kill someone that was already hit by Ravagers :)

Got it in bot boot camp. Not easy get the weapon there but it's the only reasonable way to get the achievement. I still struggled to get a kill with a charged shot as its so low power but takes ages to charge.

Before it's mentioned that Bot Bootcamp was removed, it will be returning, according to ske7ch.

My big problem with this achievement is trying to find the Ravager in the first place.

So, as of 14 Oct. 23, I finally got this achievement after a lot of luck and patience. Loaded up Infection, looked around the map for a Ravager and eventually found an Infected who was AFK. Literally just went up to him and charged my shot.

What's great about Infection is that you don't have to deal with burning through your enemy's shield first.

This is not obtainable in firefight (at least I couldn't seem to get it). I was able to get it in Husky Raid. It still requires some luck, but the chaos and close clustering of enemies made this a little easier for me.

It can potentially spawn in any mode but it's easiest to find it in BTB. I found a weapon rack on Highpower that kept spawning it in my match, so I would just run back to it every time I failed. I failed many times, the charged shot on this weapon is horrible

I really don't think it's as hard as other people are making it out to be. It's just important to know that a single fully charged shot is not enough to kill a fully healthy opponent. It's true, getting a kill from the flame effect is more luck based because the the damage is somewhat slow and so you have to hope that a player stays in the flames while they are distracted by something else: a fight with a teammate, an objective, etc

Instead, remove the luck from it by directly hitting an opponent that is fighting one of your teammates. Hit them when their shield is down, and make sure it's a direct hit, not a shot to the floor.

You can also try damaging an opponent with burst shots or your other weapon and then charging up a Ravager shot for the kill, but that's a lot riskier as you will have to survive with their attention fully on you while charge up (or also they might run away). But anyway, fire a charged shot at enemy that is already fighting someone else isn't really that hard.

I actually got this after the round ended in a stockpile game in big team battle. I had just picked it up at the end of a CTF game that was about to end, and I fired the shot at someone standing still after the game technically ended.

I feel very silly not knowing this weapon had a charge function, I thought it was just severely underpowered. Gotta go for this since I get this weapon ALL THE TIME in Fiesta!
