How to unlock the Slaying with Style achievement in Halo Infinite - Definitive Guide
Mythic medals refer to a category of medals (all of which are broadcasted in the kill feed when achieved) that are distinctly recognizable by their red color palette.
Mythic medals include:
Overkill: Kill 4 enemies in rapid succession. (and any multikill medal above)
Running Riot: Kill 15 enemies without dying. (and any spree medals above)
Ninja: Kill an enemy by jumping over them and backsmacking them.
Fastball: Kill an enemy with the impact from a thrown grenade (basically, kill an enemy by hitting them with a grenade, NOT by the grenade's explosion)
Perfection: Win a game with 15 or more kills and no deaths.
Quigley: Kill 2 or more enemies with a single round from the S7 Sniper.
Remote Detonation: Kill an enemy by shooting a grenade.
The easiest way as of right now is to use the Bot Bootcamp matchmaking playlist, which pits 4 human players vs 4 bots. Do not confuse this with Bot Training! I found the easiest thing to do is go for Ninja medals as they only require a single kill and is relatively simple to pull off with bots.
Keep in mind 343i might patch this method out as the achievement is obviously supposed to be done against human players, hence the "in a matchmade game" description and the high gamerscore.

ROFL so I have this noob messaging me all butthurt because he claims "it is impossible to get an overkill in Halo Infinite because people keep killing me." Then he called me a "cheater" since I was able to actually plan out this achievement to hit 200,000 GS with. He just messages me out of the blue telling me I am a cheater and a liar and a hacker. I mean, seriously?? I have gotten a Killamanjaro legit in Halo Infinite before and a Killtastrophe legit in Halo 4. Getting an Overkill is so commonplace it happens all the time. I had many hundreds on my stats for Halo 4 and Reach on 360 before the servers were closed. The guy's name is "Radiant Sword X" so I would avoid him if you can. I don't know if he is a troll or if he just sucks hard at Halo and is butthurt, but he is going around and reporting anyone who unlocked this cheevo for cheating. Just wanted you all to know.

Tried the ninja method for a long time. Could never get it to work. My recommendation is to just go on a bot boot camp spree focusing on racking up good kills. I got Running Riot and Perfection. The process is basically as follows:
1. Stay in close proximity to teammates. They thin the wave of bots and tip the balance in your favor. 1 on 1 is far better than 3 on 1.
2. Stay to the outside of the map. The middle is a kill zone.
3. Poach kills. Your teammates will often soften bots up. Finish them and you'll get the credit.
4. Ignore objectives and just go for kills. Camping at objectives (or in sight of them) will boost odds of kills.
5. Avoid gimmicks. Focus on perfecting your grenading and shooting skills. Gear, power weapons, etc are not standard or guaranteed. The assault rifle, sidekick, and frag grenades are.
Good hunting.

So if it eventually gets patched. However right now you can get this by doing bot bootcamp matches (has to be a matchmade game under multiplayer and not training). Running Riot (15 kills without dying) is a mythic medal. Easy against the bots.
Figured this out by accident when messing with settings and controls.
Still working as of 06/01/2022 as far as I can tell.

That's just bot bootcamp right?

I know there are several medals that fill this requirement, and I wanted to document another.
I earned my achievement by obtaining a "Ninja" medal.
It is for having an enemy see you, engage, then you proceed to go behind them and "back smack" them (killing them with one melee to the back) during the same engagement.
Happy Hunting.

Bot Bootcamp is the easiest way: I got this by getting 15 kills without dying :)
This guide was translated automatically.
An example of mythical medals that I received (there are probably others):
- kill 15 enemies without dying
- quickly kill three opponents
- defeat opponents with a huge lead
can be easily accomplished by playing against bots with other real players

I don’t know how you managed to achieve the purple medal achievement. But I completed it only after receiving a gold medal.

The first clue is not entirely correct. You need to get any gold medal in PVP. I got the achievement for 4 quick kills.
