I was in the middle of playing another game when I got this. That's a first for me.

So I'm sure it will show up retroactively for others who it glitched on.

I too have this glitch with this achievement not popping, and as well as the final 2 story related mission achievements similar to this one. Both are glitch.

UNMISSABLE ACHIEVEMENT, STORY-RELATED
At the end of mission 1, a cutscene will take place.

Once the cutscene ends, the achievement will unlock.

The hell is wrong with you @TH airborne 88? He even has a spoiler tab and it was YOUR choice to click on this achievement guide. You could’ve read the description just fine. The fact you are even uncovering secret achievements and looking at them is already a spoiler so let’s stop being a hypocrite

Apparently this is missable, as I'm now on Outpost Tremonius (Mission 3) and the achievement hasn't popped yet even after collecting the Weapon.

12/12/21 Update: I was able to get this achievement when I started a new save slot to replay the campaign on another difficulty.

I'm over halfway done with the story and I never got this either... along with several other achievements I should have by now that never popped
