How to unlock the You're Up, Rook' achievement in Halo Infinite - Definitive Guide

When you are at the main menu's Play tab select the flsecond option down for Multiplayer, then the fourth option down for Ranked. You can change any settings if you like or just press Play at the bottom, (which should be already highlighted), to launch the game. Play the match like normal, win or lose, once the game ends the achievement will unlock.

Me mine didn't unlock after my first game

This didn't unlock until I completed my first game after playing the first 10 to get my initial placement.

Glitched? Mine unlocked after my first ever ranked match, Oddball. We lost and at the result screen achievement unlocked.

Do you mean Ranked area? That's the only thing with Ranked in its name

Good to know: "You have only completed 1 out of the 25 matches required to play Ranked." - This text wait below the greyed out Play button.

@vzr326 WOW i had no idea it took 25 regular matches to start play ranked as I was going to do the achievement for the alphabet challenge, but I guess I will look elsewhere

I think the guides were made from online beta - you have to play 25 matches (of some other type?) to unlock Ranked! What's the fastest 'other type' to play 25 'unranked'(?) games?

Ranked FFA doesn't count, has to be ranked arena.

To get this Achievement you must finish 1 Ranked match in multiplayer.

The following game modes work for this Achievement: Ranked Arena, Ranked Doubles, & Ranked FFA.
