This achievement is very easy once you know where to go.
1st, settings do not matter...only game type. Go into the "INVASION" game type under match making. Invasion is like RUSH in BadCompany...you have 2 bases and a 3rd objective to take over within the game time. These games are ALWAYS Elites vs. Spartans and they are ALWAYS two rounds meaning you will be Spartans once and Elites once.
5 Kills is not a lot to ask, especially if you are on a map where the Elites are on defense and the Spartans are just running to their deaths. In any case, you will get this in under 5 minutes of playing.
While in Invasion, it is also best to go after this achievement with a friend:
The Be My Wingman, Anytime achievement in Halo: Reach worth 7 pointsLet a teammate spawn on you 5 times in an Invasion Matchmaking game.
I suggest trying the Invasion Slayer for that one, as the games seem to last longer and there are a lot more kills/deaths.

This is fairly self-explanatory. There are a variety of game-types where you ae able to play as Elites vs. Spartans, but the easiest is Invasion, which is always guaranteed to be Elites vs. Spartans.
In the matchmaking menu, if you press Start, and scroll down to player traits, you are able to select your preferred species, and so if you set this to Elites, the chance of you being placed on the Elites team increases. This may be useful if you keep getting placed on the Spartan team (which can happen, but normally the game mixes it up).

Play the invasion game mode in matchmaking, once you are on the Elite's side, kill 5 Spartan's from the other team! Doesn't have to be a spree it counts total kills in the match so very easy!

An easy achievement, just somewhat confusing if you don't know where to go.
The only place where you are able to play as an elite is the game type "invasion" where one team defends control points and objectives from the other. One team will be spartans while the other will be the elite.
Simply continue playing and you'll eventually get it.

The easiest way to get this achievement is on invasion when you're an elite side wait a one of the spots you have to defend for the enemy and use dark assian so they dont see you and kill the from behind.
